盐城农业科技职业学院是2024年经江苏省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办专科层次普通高等学校，前身为创办于1952年的江苏省盐城农业学校。学校坚持“立人兴农、守正创新”的办学理念，举农字旗、打沿海牌、走特色路，形成了“一棵苗带富百万乡亲、一台机引领农业转型、一尾鱼推动水产升级、一根丝编织锦绣生活”的鲜明农科办学特色，先后获评全国职业教育先进单位、全国五四红旗团委、江苏省乡村振兴人才培养优质校等荣誉称号。

Yancheng Vocational College of Agricultural Science and Technology is a public full-time college approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2024, evolved from Jiangsu Yancheng Agricultural School founded in 1952. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Cultivating People to Prosper Agriculture, Upholding Tradition and Innovating", the college focuses on agricultural disciplines, leverages coastal advantages, and develops distinctive features. It has formed a prominent agricultural education model characterized by "One Seedling Enriching Millions, One Machine Leading Agricultural Transformation, One Fish Promoting Aquaculture Upgrading, and One Silk Weaving Prosperous Life". It has been awarded honors such as National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education and National May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee.

学校地处“国际湿地、沿海绿城”江苏省盐城市，现有学府路校区和盐青路、上冈两个基地，校园面积849.40亩，建筑面积19.15万平方米。教职工386人，其中专任教师344人（副高级以上职称144人，博硕士研究生192人），双师型教师137人。开设园艺技术、畜牧兽医、现代农业装备应用技术等15个专业，建成1个国家职业教育示范性虚拟仿真实训基地、3个省级高水平示范性实训基地，多年来学生就业率稳定在98%以上。

Located in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, known as "International Wetland, Coastal Green City", the college has three campuses (Xuefu Road Campus, Yanqing Road Base, and Shanggang Base) covering 849.40 mu with a building area of 191,500 square meters. It has 386 faculty members, including 344 full-time teachers (144 with associate senior titles or above, 192 with master's or doctoral degrees), and 137 "double-qualified" teachers. The college offers 15 majors such as Horticultural Technology, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and Modern Agricultural Equipment Application Technology. It has built 1 national vocational education demonstration virtual simulation training base and 3 provincial high-level demonstration training bases, with student employment rate stably above 98% for years.

学校积极推进产教融合，牵头成立长三角现代水产行业产教融合共同体，与悦达集团、银宝集团等头部企业共建8个现代产业学院，培养了全国先进工作者秦光蔚、“中国好人”程来品等一大批优秀校友，为乡村振兴和农业现代化建设作出重要贡献。

The college actively promotes industry-education integration, leading the establishment of the Yangtze River Delta Modern Aquaculture Industry-Education Integration Community. It has jointly built 8 modern industrial colleges with leading enterprises such as Yueda Group and Yinbao Group. The college has cultivated numerous outstanding alumni including Qin Guangwei (National Advanced Worker) and Cheng Laipin ("Good Person in China"), making significant contributions to rural revitalization and agricultural modernization.
