右江民族医学院坐落于左右江革命老区、红色英雄城市——百色，是广西壮族自治区直属全日制普通本科院校。学校承担着本科生、研究生和留学生的培养任务，是两国三省交界地区（两国即中国、越南，三省即广西、云南、贵州）最大的高等医学教育中心、医疗卫生服务中心、医学科学研究中心。学校前身是创建于1958年的百色医学专科学校；1978年升格为本科医学院校，并更名为右江民族医学院；1997年通过全国普通高校本科教学合格评估；2007年接受教育部本科教学工作水平评估获优秀等级；2013年成为硕士学位授权单位；2015年获全国文明单位和全国毕业生就业典型经验高校（全国高校就业50强）；2021年列入广西立项建设新增博士学位授予单位。

Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities is located in Baise, an old revolutionary base area of Zuojiang and Youjiang and a red hero city. It is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university directly under the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The university undertakes the training of undergraduates, postgraduates and international students, and is the largest higher medical education center, medical and health service center, and medical scientific research center in the border area of two countries and three provinces (China and Vietnam, and Guangxi, Yunnan and Guizhou). The predecessor of the university was Baise Medical College founded in 1958; in 1978, it was upgraded to an undergraduate medical college and renamed Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities; in 1997, it passed the qualification evaluation of undergraduate teaching in national ordinary colleges and universities; in 2007, it received an excellent grade in the undergraduate teaching level evaluation by the Ministry of Education; in 2013, it became a master's degree authorization unit; in 2015, it was awarded the National Civilized Unit and a typical experience university for national graduate employment (top 50 national university employment); in 2021, it was listed as a newly added doctoral degree awarding unit approved by Guangxi.

学校以医学学科为优势，医、理、管、文等学科协调发展。现有14个学院（部），2个一级学科硕士学位授权点（涵盖23个二级学科），8个类别硕士专业学位授权点，23个本科专业。拥有2个国家中医药管理局重点学科、2个广西一流学科、6个广西重点学科，1个国家级一流本科专业建设点，9个自治区级一流本科专业建设点。学校占地面积约1453亩，有2个校区、3所直属附属医院、9所非直属附属医院和132个教学实践基地，教职工及医务人员4600余人。近年来，学校大力推动科技强校战略和人才工程建设，聘请英国帝国理工大学教授等高层次人才来校工作，获享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家2人，全国优秀教师2人，广西特聘专家等知名专家学者50余人。

Currently, it has 14 colleges (departments), 2 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points (covering 23 second-level disciplines), 8 categories of professional master's degree authorization points, and 23 undergraduate majors. It has 2 key disciplines of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 2 first-class disciplines in Guangxi, 6 key disciplines in Guangxi, 1 national first-class undergraduate major construction site, and 9 autonomous region-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites. The university covers an area of about 1453 mu, with 2 campuses, 3 directly affiliated hospitals, 9 non-directly affiliated hospitals and 132 teaching practice bases, and more than 4600 faculty members and medical staff. In recent years, the university has vigorously promoted the strategy of strengthening the university through science and technology and the construction of talent projects, and has hired high-level talents such as professors from Imperial College London to work in the university. It has 2 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 2 national excellent teachers, and more than 50 well-known experts and scholars such as Guangxi distinguished experts.
