运城学院是一所由山西省人民政府举办、山西省教育厅管理的普通高等学校，坐落于中华民族和中华文明重要发祥地之一的山西省运城市，肇始于1978年成立的山西师范学院运城师专班，2002年经教育部批准升格为本科院校，2024年获批硕士学位授予单位，现有电子信息、食品与营养、旅游管理3个硕士专业学位授权点。学校坚持“地方性、应用型、开放式”办学定位，秉承“立德有为”校训精神，以硕士学位授予单位建设为牵引，全面实施“13310”发展战略，向着特色鲜明的区域高水平应用型大学目标前进。

Yuncheng University is a public higher education institution sponsored by the People's Government of Shanxi Province and administered by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Education. Located in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, one of the important cradles of the Chinese nation and civilization, it originated from the Yuncheng Teacher Training Class of Shanxi Normal College founded in 1978. Approved by the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution in 2002 and granted the right to award master's degrees in 2024, currently offering 3 professional master's programs in Electronic Information, Food and Nutrition, and Tourism Management. Adhering to the school motto of "Morality and Action" and the orientation of "local, application-oriented, and open" education, the university is advancing towards the goal of building a distinctive regional high-level application-oriented university, with the construction of a master's degree-granting unit as the driving force and the comprehensive implementation of the "13310" development strategy.

学校现有复旦校区、河东校区、科创园区三个校区，占地总面积3089亩，校舍建筑面积60.28万平方米，教学仪器设备总值2.37亿元，馆藏纸质图书207.80万册。设有21个教学科研机构，53个本科专业，涵盖十大学科门类，拥有2个国家级一流本科专业建设点、10个省级一流本科专业建设点。教职工1400余人，其中专任教师近1200人，高级职称教师290人，硕士以上学位教师占比89.16%；全日制在校本科生近2万人，与其他高校联合培养研究生280余人。

The university has three campuses: Fudan Campus, Hedong Campus, and Science and Innovation Park, covering a total area of 3089 mu (approximately 205.93 hectares) with a building area of 602,800 square meters. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 237 million yuan, and the library has 2.078 million paper books. It has 21 teaching and research institutions and 53 undergraduate programs covering ten disciplines, including 2 national-level first-class undergraduate program construction sites and 10 provincial-level ones. The university has over 1,400 faculty members, including nearly 1,200 full-time teachers, 290 of whom have senior professional titles, and 89.16% of the teachers have master's degrees or above. There are nearly 20,000 full-time undergraduate students and over 280 postgraduate students co-cultivated with other universities.

近年来，学校积极推进产教融合、科教融汇，拥有1个省重点实验室、1个省工程研究中心、2个省技术创新中心，承担国家级科研项目20项，省部级以上科研项目595项，获省部级以上科研成果奖60项。与110余家行业企业开展产学研合作，毕业生就业去向落实率连年稳居全省高校第一方阵，先后荣获“全国语言文字工作先进集体”“山西省党建和思想政治工作先进高校”等荣誉称号。

In recent years, the university has actively promoted the integration of industry and education, and the integration of science and education. It has 1 provincial key laboratory, 1 provincial engineering research center, and 2 provincial technological innovation centers. It has undertaken 20 national-level scientific research projects, 595 provincial-level and above scientific research projects, and won 60 provincial-level and above scientific research achievement awards. It has carried out industry-university-research cooperation with more than 110 enterprises and institutions, and the employment rate of graduates has remained in the first tier of universities in Shanxi Province for years. It has successively won honors such as "National Advanced Collective in Language Work" and "Advanced University in Party Building and Ideological and Political Work in Shanxi Province".
