宜春职业技术学院坐落于赣西历史文化名城、月亮之都——宜春市，城市环境优美、山清水秀、交通便利，是国家优秀旅游城市、国家卫生城市、国家园林城市、全国绿化模范城市。学校是2003年6月经江西省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的公办全日制专科层次普通高校，其办学渊源可追溯至1908年的师范传习所，2003年由原宜春师范、宜春卫校、宜春财校、宜春技校合并组建而成。

Yichun Vocational and Technical College is located in Yichun City, a famous historical and cultural city in western Jiangxi and the "City of the Moon". The city boasts a beautiful environment with clear mountains and rivers, convenient transportation, and has been honored as a National Excellent Tourism City, National Sanitary City, National Garden City, and National Model City for Greening. Established in June 2003 with the approval of the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education, the college is a public full-time higher education institution offering associate degree programs. Its educational heritage dates back to the Normal Training Institute founded in 1908, and it was formally established in 2003 through the merger of the former Yichun Normal School, Yichun Health School, Yichun Finance School, and Yichun Technical School.

学校秉持“尚德尚贤、惟精惟一”的校训，初心不忘、自强不息、砥砺奋进，先后成为江西省示范性高职院校、江西省优质专科高职院校、江西省首批实施留学生培养高职院校、全国民族团结进步创建示范院校，2023年立项为江西省“双高计划”建设院校、入选教育部职业教育信息化标杆院校建设单位。学校占地1500亩，建筑面积58万平方米，设有8个二级学院和5个教学单位，在校学生1.8万余人，现有教职工近千人，其中专任教师中高级职称教师近300人。

Adhering to the school motto of "Upholding Virtue and Talent, Striving for Excellence and Uniqueness", the college remains committed to its original aspiration, perseveres in self-improvement, and forge ahead. It has successively been recognized as a Jiangxi Provincial Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, a Jiangxi Provincial High-Quality Vocational College, one of the first Jiangxi provincial vocational colleges to enroll international students, and a National Model Institution for Ethnic Unity and Progress. In 2023, it was approved as a construction institution for Jiangxi Provincial "Double High-Level Plan" and selected as a construction unit for the Ministry of Education's Vocational Education Informatization Benchmarking Institutions. The college covers an area of 1,500 mu (about 100 hectares) with a building area of 580,000 square meters. It has 8 secondary colleges and 5 teaching units, with over 18,000 students and nearly 1,000 faculty members, including nearly 300 full-time teachers with senior professional titles.

学校招生专业40余个，基本覆盖宜春支柱产业，其中国家骨干专业5个、省级高校特色专业4个、省级高职院校优势特色专业2个、省级高水平专业群2个、联合培养本科专业4个，构建“一锂一老一小”（即新能源材料应用技术、护理、学前教育）为引领示范的专业群发展布局，奋力推进省“双高”学校建设。

The college offers more than 40 enrollment majors, basically covering the pillar industries of Yichun. Among them, there are 5 national key majors, 4 provincial university characteristic majors, 2 provincial high-level vocational college advantageous and characteristic majors, 2 provincial high-level professional groups, and 4 jointly cultivated undergraduate majors. It has built a professional group development layout led by "One Lithium, One Elderly, One Child" (i.e., New Energy Materials Application Technology, Nursing, and Preschool Education), striving to promote the construction of provincial "Double High-Level" schools.
