炎黄职业技术学院是由涟水籍台胞、教育家、爱国实业家蒋志平先生筹资创办，经江苏省人民政府批准建立、教育部核准正式备案的全日制民办普通高校。学院创办于1999年，前身为民办炎黄大学（筹），2004年更名为炎黄职业技术学院，位于江苏省淮安市涟水县炎黄大道东1号。校园占地面积20.6万平方米，校舍建筑面积近12万平方米，固定资产1.4亿元，教学仪器设备值2031.35万元，馆藏图书21万余册，中外文期刊600余种。

Yanhuang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time private ordinary college founded by Mr. Jiang Zhiping, a Taiwan compatriot from Lianshui, educator and patriotic industrialist. Approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and officially registered with the Ministry of Education, the college was established in 1999, formerly known as Private Yanhuang University (preparatory), and renamed Yanhuang Vocational and Technical College in 2004. It is located at No. 1 East Yanhuang Avenue, Lianshui County, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province. The campus covers an area of 206,000 square meters with a building area of nearly 120,000 square meters, fixed assets of 140 million yuan, teaching equipment worth 20.3135 million yuan, and a collection of more than 210,000 books and over 600 Chinese and foreign periodicals.

学院设有建筑工程系、机电信息工程系、经济管理系等7个系，开设汽车检测与维修技术、建筑工程技术、大数据与会计等35个专业，涵盖理、工、经、管、文五大学科门类。现有教职工220人，其中高级职称59人，双师型教师62人，在校生4000余名。校训为“诚、毅、勤、俭”，坚持以服务为宗旨、以就业为导向，深化产教融合，与多家企业开展订单式培养，为区域经济社会发展培养高素质技术技能人才。

The college has 7 departments including the Department of Architectural Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Electrical Information Engineering, and Department of Economic Management, offering 35 majors such as Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Technology, Architectural Engineering Technology, and Big Data and Accounting, covering five disciplines of science, engineering, economics, management, and liberal arts. It has 220 faculty members, including 59 with senior professional titles and 62 dual-qualified teachers, and over 4,000 students. With the school motto of "Sincerity, Perseverance, Diligence, and Frugality", the college adheres to the purpose of service and employment-oriented, deepens industry-education integration, carries out order-based training with many enterprises, and cultivates high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
