云南财经职业学院是经云南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制公办普通高等职业院校，其前身可追溯至1934年成立的云南省立鼎新初级商业职业学校，2015年正式组建为专科层次院校。学校位于昆明市北市区，占地总面积167932.78平方米，校舍建筑面积124556.07平方米，教学仪器设备总值5168.39万元，馆藏纸质图书62.47万册，电子图书24.53万册，是中国职教学会表彰的黄炎培优秀职业学校、云南省委省政府命名的省级文明单位及文明校园。

Yunnan College of Finance and Economics is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor can be traced back to Yunnan Provincial Dingxin Primary Commercial Vocational School founded in 1934, and it was formally established as a junior college-level institution in 2015. Located in the northern urban area of Kunming, the college covers a total area of 167,932.78 square meters with a building area of 124,556.07 square meters. It has teaching instruments and equipment worth 51.6839 million yuan, 624,700 paper books, and 245,300 e-books in its collection. It is recognized as an Excellent Vocational School by the China Vocational Education Association and a Provincial Civilized Unit and Campus by the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Government.

学校下设6个学院、2个教学部，开设24个高职专科专业，形成以大数据与会计为龙头的省级高水平专业群，电子商务、财税大数据应用为特色的校级专业群体系。现有教职工365人，其中高级职称78人，双师型教师80余人，建有40余个校内实训基地及140余个校外实习实训基地，与企业共建数字经济、数智财会等多个产业学院，拥有省级现代学徒制试点项目16个，2024年获评新时代西部大开发“创新发展之星”职业院校。

The college has 6 schools and 2 teaching departments, offering 24 junior college programs. It has formed a provincial-level high-level professional cluster led by Big Data and Accounting, and university-level professional cluster systems featuring E-commerce and Financial Taxation Big Data Application. There are 365 faculty members, including 78 with senior professional titles and over 80 dual-qualified teachers. The college has built more than 40 on-campus training bases and over 140 off-campus internship and training bases, co-established multiple industrial colleges such as Digital Economy and Intelligent Finance and Accounting with enterprises, and has 16 provincial-level modern apprenticeship talent training pilot projects. In 2024, it was awarded the "Innovative Development Star" vocational college in the New Era Western Development initiative.

作为云南省财政干部培训基地、省级职业院校教师培训基地，学校积极服务云南3815发展战略，年社会培训超20万人次，2024年获批云南省继续教育示范性基地。同时深化国际交流，与泰国、老挝等国高校合作，共建“中文+技能”培训基地，参与老挝、乍得国家职业标准开发，是一带一路暨金砖国家技能发展国际联盟数智财经工作委员会副主任委员单位，2024年取得招收外国留学生资质并首批招收15名留学生。

As a training base for Yunnan provincial financial cadres and a teacher training base for provincial vocational colleges, the college actively serves Yunnan's 3815 development strategy, providing over 200,000 person-times of social training annually and was approved as a Yunnan Provincial Continuing Education Demonstration Base in 2024. It also deepens international exchanges, cooperating with universities in Thailand, Laos and other countries, co-building "Chinese + Skills" training bases, participating in the development of national vocational standards for Laos and Chad. It is the vice chairman unit of the Intelligent Finance and Economics Working Committee of the Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development International Alliance, and obtained qualification to enroll international students in 2024, admitting the first batch of 15 international students.
