云南工程职业学院是经云南省人民政府批准、教育部备案，具有独立颁发国家承认学历文凭资格的全日制普通高等院校，成立于2004年。学校以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，坚持社会主义办学方向，贯彻党的教育方针，致力于培养技术技能与职业精神相融合的高素质人才，现有全日制在校生15000余人。

Yunnan Engineering Vocational College is a full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education, with the qualification to independently issue nationally recognized academic diplomas. Founded in 2004, the college is guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, adheres to the socialist orientation in running schools, implements the Party's educational policy, and is committed to cultivating high-quality talents integrating technical skills and professional spirit. It currently has over 15,000 full-time students.

学校下设工程技术学院、经济信息学院等“六院一部”，开设护理、工程造价、建筑室内设计等51个专业，涵盖土木建筑、医药卫生、装备制造等13个专业大类。拥有建筑工程实训基地、医学基础实验室等先进教学设施，是全国国防教育特色学校、云南省文明学校，荣获“云南省民办教育优秀高等院校”等称号。

The college has six schools and one department, including the School of Engineering Technology and the School of Economic Information, offering 51 majors such as Nursing, Engineering Cost, and Architectural Interior Design, covering 13 professional categories including civil engineering, medicine and health, and equipment manufacturing. It has advanced teaching facilities such as a construction engineering training base and medical basic laboratories. It is a national defense education characteristic school, a civilized school in Yunnan Province, and has been awarded titles such as "Excellent Private Higher Education Institution in Yunnan Province".
