云南工贸职业技术学院是云南省人民政府批准、人力资源社会保障部与教育部备案的省属公办院校，直属云南省人力资源和社会保障厅，始创于1961年。2009年升格为云南首家技师学院，2017年在其基础上新建云南工贸职业技术学院，2019年正式整合为云南技师学院（云南工贸职业技术学院），率先探索技师学院举办高职教育的创新路径。

Yunnan Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Trade is a public college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Education. Affiliated to Yunnan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, it was founded in 1961. Upgraded to Yunnan's first Technician College in 2009, it established Yunnan Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Trade in 2017 and formally integrated into Yunnan Technician College (Yunnan Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Trade) in 2019, pioneering the innovative path of technician colleges offering higher vocational education.

学院秉持"德融四海、技行天下"校训，构建"品德铸魂、技能立身、体美添彩、劳动塑形"人才培养体系，形成"四化三式"教学模式。拥有昆明安宁、盘龙两个校区及镇雄分院，占地1243亩，建筑面积38万平方米，建有2个世界技能大赛中国集训基地、5个国家级高技能人才培训基地，教学实训设备值超1亿元，纸质及电子图书50余万册。

Adhering to the motto "Morality Integrates the World, Skills Travel the Globe", the college has built a talent cultivation system of "Morality Shapes the Soul, Skills Establish the Self, Physical Beauty Adds Luster, and Labor Shapes the Form", forming a "Four Modernizations and Three Modes" teaching model. It has two campuses in Anning and Panlong of Kunming and a Zhenxiong branch, covering 1243 mu with a construction area of 380,000 square meters. It has 2 WorldSkills China Training Bases, 5 national high-skilled talent training bases, teaching and training equipment worth over 100 million yuan, and more than 500,000 paper and electronic books.

学院开设6大专业类34个技工教育专业和31个高职教育专业，聚焦智能制造、康养管理等领域，2个专业实现高本贯通培养。现有教职工1098人，"双师型"教师占比超70%，在校生2万余人，近三年就业率稳定在95%以上，获国家技能人才培育突出贡献奖等80余项荣誉，是云南省文明单位、平安校园及铸牢中华民族共同体意识示范学校。

The college offers 34 technical education majors and 31 higher vocational education majors in 6 categories, focusing on intelligent manufacturing, health care management, etc., with 2 majors realizing undergraduate-top-up education. It has 1098 faculty members, with "dual-qualified" teachers accounting for over 70%, and more than 20,000 students. The employment rate has remained above 95% in recent three years. It has won over 80 honors such as the National Outstanding Contribution Award for Skilled Talents Cultivation, and is a civilized unit, safe campus, and demonstration school for forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation in Yunnan Province.
