云南机电职业技术学院是一所以工科为主、机电为特色的全日制公办高等职业院校，2004年7月由云南省机械工业学校与云南省机械技工学校合并组建，2024年云南省贸易经济学校和云南商务信息工程学校整体并入，坐落于春城昆明，分龙泉南院、龙泉北院、杨林三校区，占地约540亩，在校生1.3万余人。

Yunnan Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Technology is a full-time public higher vocational college focusing on engineering with mechanical and electrical characteristics. It was established in July 2004 by the merger of Yunnan Machinery Industry School and Yunnan Machinery Technical School. In 2024, Yunnan Trade and Economic School and Yunnan Business Information Engineering School were fully merged into it. Located in Kunming, the Spring City, it has three campuses: Longquan South Campus, Longquan North Campus and Yanglin Campus, covering an area of about 540 mu with more than 13,000 students.

学校坚持党建引领、立德树人，创新“一轴两驱四融合”党建工作机制，构建“一核心两平台五需求”思政育人模式及“1551”学生成长成才育人体系。坚持产教融合、校企合作，主动对接云南“3815”战略发展目标及14个重点产业，战略性重组先进制造、绿色能源、现代交通、人工智能、商贸管理5个二级学院，现有招生专业48个，其中国家“双高”专业10个、国家骨干专业8个，近三年获国家级技能大赛奖项23项，毕业生平均就业去向落实率96.35%。

The college adheres to the leadership of the Party building and moral education, innovates the "one axis, two drives and four integrations" Party building work mechanism, and constructs the "one core, two platforms and five needs" ideological and political education model and the "1551" student growth and talent education system. Adhering to the integration of industry and education and school-enterprise cooperation, it actively connects with Yunnan's "3815" strategic development goals and 14 key industries, and strategically reorganized 5 secondary colleges including advanced manufacturing, green energy, modern transportation, artificial intelligence, and business management.
