云南经贸外事职业学院是经云南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制民办普通高等职业学院，始创于1998年，前身为云南商贸管理进修学院，2008年正式升格为高职院校。学校秉承“修德、志学、强能、致用”的校训，以培养应用型、技能型人才为目标，是云南省特色骨干高职院校、云南省优质高职院校立项建设单位及国家级示范性职教集团建设单位。

Yunnan Vocational College of Economics, Trade and Foreign Affairs is a full-time private higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1998, it originated from Yunnan Business Management College and was officially upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2008. Adhering to the motto of "Cultivating Morality, Pursuing Learning, Strengthening Abilities, and Applying Knowledge", the college aims to cultivate applied and skilled talents. It is a key vocational college with characteristics in Yunnan Province, a project construction unit for high-quality vocational colleges in Yunnan, and a national demonstration vocational education group construction unit.

学校现有杨林和海口两个校区，总占地面积57.4万平方米，校舍建筑面积近50万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值6700余万元。设有数字商学院、建筑工程学院、教育学院等10余个二级学院，开设大数据与会计、建筑工程技术、学前教育、护理等41个专科专业，形成了以经济管理、工程技术、医药护理为特色，多学科协调发展的专业体系。现有全日制在校生12000余人，专兼职教师400余名，其中教授、副教授占比26%，“双师型”教师占比53%。

The college has two campuses, Yanglin and Haikou, covering a total area of 574,000 square meters with a building area of nearly 500,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment exceeds 67 million yuan. It has more than 10 secondary colleges, including the Digital Business School, College of Civil Engineering, and College of Education, offering 41 specialized programs such as Big Data and Accounting, Construction Engineering Technology, Preschool Education, and Nursing. This forms a professional system featuring economic management, engineering technology, and medical care, with coordinated development of multiple disciplines. The college has over 12,000 full-time students and more than 400 full-time and part-time teachers, among whom 26% are professors or associate professors, and 53% are "double-qualified" teachers (with both academic and industry experience).
