云南能源职业技术学院是云南省内唯一一所主要面向能源行业培养高素质技术技能人才的公办高等职业院校，创建于1978年，2002年升格为高职院校，举办单位为云南省教育厅。学校坐落于云南省曲靖市，现有麒麟、沾益、白石江3个校区，占地面积835亩，建筑面积40余万平方米，资产总值近15亿元。

Yunnan Vocational and Technical College of Energy is the only public higher vocational college in Yunnan Province mainly oriented to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for the energy industry. Founded in 1978, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2002 and is sponsored by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education. The college is located in Qujing City, Yunnan Province, with three campuses: Qilin, Zhanyi, and Baishijiang, covering an area of 835 mu, with a building area of more than 400,000 square meters and a total asset value of nearly 1.5 billion yuan.

学校设有8个二级学院，开设51个专业，重点服务能源、煤炭及工业信息产业。其前身可追溯至1978年成立的云南省煤炭工业学校，2002年由三校合并组建为高职院校，是全国煤炭行业紧缺人才培养基地、云南省示范性高职院校，2025年在校生规模达1.5万余人，毕业生就业率连续多年保持90%以上。

The college has 8 secondary colleges and offers 51 majors, focusing on serving the energy, coal, and industrial information industries. Its predecessor can be traced back to Yunnan Provincial Coal Industry School founded in 1978. In 2002, it was merged from three schools into a higher vocational college. It is a national shortage talent training base for the coal industry and a demonstration higher vocational college in Yunnan Province. In 2025, the number of students in school reached more than 15,000, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 90% for many years.
