云南轻纺职业学院是经云南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的国家公办全日制普通高等职业院校，主校区位于昆明市安宁市宁泊路54号，占地431亩，规划建筑面积约32万平方米。学校前身为1960年始建的云南省轻工业学校等三所院校，2017年合并组建为高职院校，2021年云南出版传媒技工学校并入，现有安宁、昆明莲花池、昆明教场路三个校区。

Yunnan Light Industry and Textile Vocational College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its main campus is located at No. 54 Ningbo Road, Anning City, Kunming, covering an area of 431 mu with a planned construction area of approximately 320,000 square meters. The college evolved from three institutions including Yunnan Light Industry School founded in 1960, merged into a higher vocational college in 2017, and incorporated Yunnan Publishing Media Technical School in 2021. It now has three campuses in Anning, Kunming Lianhuachi, and Kunming Jiaochang Road.

学校下设8个二级学院和2个教辅机构，开设轻工纺织、食品药品、艺术设计等七大专业群共37个专业，其中国人工智能学院为教育部批准的校企共建特色学院。现有专兼职教师403人，副高及以上职称100人，双师型教师130人，在校生超13000人，教学科研仪器设备总值6274.57万元，校内外实训基地253个。

The college has 8 secondary colleges and 2 teaching auxiliary institutions, offering 37 majors covering seven major professional groups including light industry and textiles, food and pharmaceuticals, and art design. Its Artificial Intelligence College is a characteristic college co-built by school and enterprise approved by the Ministry of Education. There are 403 full-time and part-time teachers, including 100 with associate senior titles or above and 130 dual-qualified teachers. The college has over 13,000 students, with teaching and research equipment worth 62.7457 million yuan and 253 on-campus and off-campus training bases.
