云南外事外语职业学院是经云南省人民政府批准、教育部备案，纳入国家计划内统一招生，具有独立颁发国家承认学历文凭资格的全日制普通高等职业学院。学院由亨德森集团投资建设，投资人亨德森•杨先生为德籍华人，现投资4.2亿元，是云南省最大的教育外资引资项目。学院位于昆明市杨林职教园区，占地393.58亩，现建筑面积153,167平方米，规划建筑面积262,387.6平方米，配备现代化教学楼、图书馆、实验室、标准化运动场地及完善的后勤服务设施。

Yunnan College of Foreign Affairs & Foreign Language is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province, registered with the Ministry of Education, included in the national unified enrollment plan, and qualified to independently issue nationally recognized academic diplomas. The college is invested and constructed by Henderson Group, with investor Mr. Henderson Yang, a German-Chinese, currently investing 420 million yuan, making it the largest educational foreign investment project in Yunnan Province. Located in Yanglin Vocational Education Park, Kunming, the college covers an area of 393.58 mu (about 26.24 hectares), with a current construction area of 153,167 square meters and a planned construction area of 262,387.6 square meters. It is equipped with modern teaching buildings, libraries, laboratories, standardized sports facilities, and complete logistics service facilities.

学院秉承“外事天下，语言世界”的办学特色，突出职业化、国际化人才培养方向，商务英语专业为云南省高等职业教育高水平骨干专业，建成《商务英语翻译》《泰语口语》等58门校级精品课程。学院积极推进国际交流合作，与泰国正大管理学院、博仁大学等多所海外院校建立专本硕连读、学生互换等合作项目，培养适应“一带一路”建设需求的多语种复合型人才。近年来荣获“云南省文明学校”“中国教育信息化示范院校”等称号，通过云南省高职院校人才培养工作评估，为区域经济社会发展提供有力的人才支撑。

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Foreign Affairs Connecting the World, Languages Bridging Cultures", the college emphasizes vocational and international talent cultivation. Its Business English program is a high-level key program of higher vocational education in Yunnan Province, with 58 school-level excellent courses developed, including "Business English Translation" and "Thai Oral English". The college actively promotes international exchanges and cooperation, establishing joint programs such as specialist-undergraduate-master continuous education and student exchange programs with multiple overseas institutions including Thailand's Chia Tai Management Institute and Dhurakij Pundit University, aiming to cultivate multilingual compound talents to meet the needs of the "Belt and Road" Initiative. In recent years, it has been awarded titles such as "Civilized School of Yunnan Province" and "China Educational Informatization Model College", passed the talent training evaluation for higher vocational colleges in Yunnan, and provides strong talent support for regional economic and social development.
