云南现代职业技术学院是一所公办全日制普通高等职业院校，2020年5月经教育部批准变更办学体制，由云南省教育厅管理，属公益二类事业单位。学院坐落于楚雄市茶花大道楚雄州职教园区，园区素有“山水园林学子城”之美誉，是教育部全国5个职教园区综合改革试点之一。学院以“立德养志，怀技报国”为校训，秉承“书卷气韵，工匠精神”校风，着力构建中职为基础、高职为骨干、应用型本科为引领的现代职业教育和培训体系。

Yunnan Modern Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational college. Approved by the Ministry of Education to change its school-running system in May 2020, it is managed by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education and belongs to the second category of public welfare institutions. The college is located in the Chuxiong Vocational Education Park on Camellia Avenue, Chuxiong City, which is known as "a landscape garden student city" and is one of the five national vocational education park comprehensive reform pilots of the Ministry of Education. With the school motto of "Cultivating Morality and Ambition, Serving the Country with Skills" and the school spirit of "Scholarly Atmosphere, Craftsman Spirit", the college strives to build a modern vocational education and training system with secondary vocational education as the foundation, higher vocational education as the backbone, and application-oriented undergraduate education as the leader.

学院占地742.08亩，建筑面积21.49万平方米，现有三年制专科和五年制专科在校生6106人，下设13个二级学院。教职工344名，“双师型”教师占60%以上，副高级职称11人，中级职称60人，研究生学历57人。开设汽车检测与维修技术、建筑工程技术、药品生产技术、酒店管理、广告设计与制作等多个专业，培养面向生产、建设、管理、服务一线的实用型、复合型、创新型高技能现代职业人才。

The college covers an area of 742.08 mu with a building area of 214,900 square meters. It currently has 6,106 students enrolled in three-year and five-year college programs, and has 13 secondary colleges. There are 344 faculty members, with over 60% being "double-qualified" teachers, 11 with associate senior titles, 60 with intermediate titles, and 57 with postgraduate degrees. The college offers various majors such as Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Pharmaceutical Production Technology, Hotel Management, and Advertising Design and Production, aiming to cultivate practical, compound, and innovative high-skilled modern vocational talents for the frontline of production, construction, management, and service.
