烟台科技学院是一所以工学、管理学、艺术学为主，多学科协调发展的全日制普通本科高校，具有颁发国家承认的统招本、专科学历资格，并具有学士学位授予权。学校前身是创建于2005年的济南大学泉城学院，2021年5月经教育部批准转设为独立设置的民办本科院校，更名为烟台科技学院。学校被评为山东省首批卓越工程师培养计划试点院校、山东省应用型本科高校建设单位，2024年位居软科中国民办高校排名主榜第43位。

Yantai Institute of Science and Technology is a full-time general undergraduate university focusing on engineering, management, and art with coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It has the qualification to issue nationally recognized undergraduate and junior college diplomas, and the right to confer bachelor's degrees. Formerly known as Quancheng College of Jinan University founded in 2005, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be transformed into an independent private undergraduate institution in May 2021 and renamed Yantai Institute of Science and Technology. The university has been rated as one of the first pilot institutions for the Excellent Engineer Training Program in Shandong Province and a construction unit for applied undergraduate universities in Shandong Province, ranking 43rd in the main list of the 2024 Soft Science China Private University Rankings.

学校拥有蓬莱和黄渤海两个校区，总占地面积1600余亩，校舍面积27余万平方米。蓬莱校区坐落于“人间仙境”烟台市蓬莱区，面朝大海，气候宜人；黄渤海校区位于国家级经济技术开发区，毗邻机场与高铁站，交通便利。学校设有智能工程学院、商学院等6个二级学院及2个教学部，开设30个本科专业和17个专科专业，涵盖工学、艺术学、管理学等6个学科门类，现有全日制在校生14836人，专兼职教师802人，其中双师型教师342人，高级职称教师231人。

The university has two campuses, Penglai and Huang Bohai, covering a total area of over 1,600 mu with a building area of more than 270,000 square meters. The Penglai Campus is located in Penglai District, Yantai City, known as the "Fairyland on Earth", facing the sea with a pleasant climate; the Huang Bohai Campus is situated in a national economic and technological development zone, adjacent to the airport and high-speed railway station with convenient transportation. The university has 6 secondary colleges including the School of Intelligent Engineering and the School of Business, as well as 2 teaching departments, offering 30 undergraduate majors and 17 junior college majors covering 6 disciplines such as engineering, art, and management. It currently has 14,836 full-time students and 802 full-time and part-time teachers, including 342 double-qualified teachers and 231 teachers with senior titles.
