元智大学（Yuan Ze University）位于中国台湾省桃园市中坜区远东路135号，由远东集团徐有庠于1989年创立，前身为1978年建立的元智工学院，1997年定名元智大学。作为全台湾第一所双语大学，其英语授课比例为全台最高，校训为“诚、勤、朴、慎”，现任董事长为徐旭东，校长廖庆荣。

Yuan Ze University is located at No. 135, Yuan Dong Road, Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, China. It was founded by Xu Youxiang of the Far East Group in 1989. Its predecessor was Yuan Ze Institute of Technology established in 1978, and it was renamed Yuan Ze University in 1997. As the first bilingual university in Taiwan, it has the highest proportion of English-taught courses in Taiwan. The school motto is "Sincerity, Diligence, Simplicity, and Prudence". The current chairman is Xu Xudong and the president is Liao Qingrong.

学校设有工程学院、电机通讯学院、信息学院、管理学院、人文社会学院等5个学院及1个医学研究所，在半导体、人工智能、智慧制造等领域特色鲜明，与企业共建20余个实训基地。2005年入选台湾“迈向顶尖大学计划”，连续十年获台湾教育部门教学卓越计划补助金额全台第二，是台湾第一所荣获“台湾品质奖”的大学。

The university has 5 colleges including the College of Engineering, College of Electrical and Communication Engineering, College of Informatics, College of Management, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and 1 Institute of Medical Research. It has distinctive features in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing and other fields, and has jointly established more than 20 training bases with enterprises. In 2005, it was selected into Taiwan's "Aim for the Top University Plan" and has ranked second in Taiwan for ten consecutive years in terms of subsidies from the Taiwan education department's Teaching Excellence Program. It is the first university in Taiwan to win the "Taiwan Quality Award".

元智大学在国际排名中表现亮眼，曾位列《泰晤士高等教育》亚洲大学前100位及创校50年内全球百强大学第70位，2023年泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名位列1201-1500区间。学校以培养国际化人才为目标，毕业生就业起薪位居全台高校前10%，在台湾私立大学中名列前茅。

Yuan Ze University has performed well in international rankings, having been ranked among the top 100 Asian universities by Times Higher Education and 70th among the world's top 100 universities under 50 years old. In 2023, it was ranked in the 1201-1500 interval in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. Aiming to cultivate international talents, the starting salaries of its graduates rank among the top 10% of universities in Taiwan, and it is among the top private universities in Taiwan.
