郑州大学是国家“双一流”建设高校、“211工程”重点建设高校，是教育部与河南省人民政府合建高校。学校位于河南省郑州市，拥有四个校区，总占地面积约6100余亩，校舍总建筑面积220余万平方米。学校学科门类齐全，涵盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、农学、医学、管理学、艺术学12大学科门类，设有130个本科专业，拥有55个一级学科硕士点、30个一级学科博士点、28个博士后科研流动站。

Zhengzhou University is a national "Double First-Class" construction university, a key construction university of the "211 Project", and a joint university co-built by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Henan Province. Located in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, the university has four campuses with a total area of about 6,100 mu and a total building area of more than 2.2 million square meters. The university has a complete range of disciplines, covering 12 disciplines including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, and art. It offers 130 undergraduate majors, 55 first-level discipline master's programs, 30 first-level discipline doctoral programs, and 28 post-doctoral research stations.

学校师资力量雄厚，现有教职工5800余人，其中两院院士、学部委员17人，海外院士4人；国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、长江学者特聘教授等国家级领军人才100余人。学校坚持立德树人根本任务，着力培养担当民族复兴大任的时代新人，现有全日制普通本科生5.1万余人、各类研究生2.2万余人，以及来自100多个国家的留学生2000余人。

The university has a strong faculty, with more than 5,800 faculty members, including 17 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering and members of academic divisions, and 4 overseas academicians; more than 100 national-level leading talents such as winners of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund and distinguished professors of the Yangtze River Scholars. Adhering to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the university strives to cultivate new era talents who are responsible for national rejuvenation. It currently has more than 51,000 full-time undergraduates, more than 22,000 graduate students of various types, and more than 2,000 international students from over 100 countries.

学校科研实力强劲，拥有国家重点实验室、国家工程研究中心等国家级科研平台14个，省部级科研平台210余个。近五年来，学校承担国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金、国家社会科学基金等国家级项目1600余项，获得国家科技进步奖、国家自然科学奖等国家级奖励18项。学校注重国际交流与合作，与40多个国家和地区的200余所高水平大学建立了校际合作关系，是国家首批“来华留学示范基地”。

The university has strong scientific research strength, with 14 national-level scientific research platforms such as national key laboratories and national engineering research centers, and more than 210 provincial-level scientific research platforms. In the past five years, the university has undertaken more than 1,600 national-level projects such as the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation, and the National Social Science Foundation, and has won 18 national awards such as the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the National Natural Science Award. The university attaches importance to international exchanges and cooperation, and has established inter-university cooperative relations with more than 200 high-level universities in more than 40 countries and regions. It is one of the first national "Demonstration Bases for Studying in China".
