浙江中医药大学是一所以中医药为特色，医、理、工、管、文等多学科协调发展的省属重点高校，是浙江省重点建设高校，也是国家中医药管理局与浙江省人民政府共建高校。学校始建于1953年，历经浙江省中医进修学校、浙江中医学院等发展阶段，2006年更名为浙江中医药大学。学校坚持“立德树人”根本任务，秉承“求本远志”校训，致力于培养高素质中医药人才和服务区域经济社会发展。

Zhejiang Chinese Medical University is a provincial key university with traditional Chinese medicine as its特色, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as medicine, science, engineering, management, and liberal arts. It is a key construction university in Zhejiang Province and a university jointly built by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. Founded in 1953, the university has gone through stages such as Zhejiang Chinese Medicine Training School and Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and was renamed Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in 2006. Adhering to the fundamental task of "cultivating virtues and talents" and the school motto of "Seeking the Origin and Aspiring for Distant Goals", the university is committed to cultivating high-quality Chinese medicine talents and serving regional economic and social development.

学校拥有滨文、富春两个校区，占地面积1000余亩，下设18个学院，开设34个本科专业，涵盖医学、理学、工学、管理学、文学等多个学科门类。学校拥有5个一级学科博士学位授权点、1个博士专业学位授权点，11个一级学科硕士学位授权点、7个硕士专业学位授权点，形成了从本科到硕士、博士、博士后的完整人才培养体系。

The university has two campuses, Binwen and Fuchun, covering an area of more than 1,000 mu. It has 18 colleges and offers 34 undergraduate majors, covering multiple disciplines such as medicine, science, engineering, management, and literature. The university has 5 first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 1 doctoral professional degree authorization point, 11 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points, and 7 master's professional degree authorization points, forming a complete talent training system from undergraduate to master, doctor, and postdoctoral.

学校高度重视科学研究和社会服务，拥有国家中医临床研究基地、国家工程研究中心、国家地方联合工程实验室等国家级科研平台5个，省部级科研平台40余个。近年来，学校承担国家级、省部级科研项目1000余项，获国家科技进步奖、国家技术发明奖等国家级、省部级奖励100余项。学校积极推动中医药国际化，与30多个国家和地区的100余所高校、科研机构建立了合作关系，是世界中医药学会联合会教育指导委员会副主任委员单位。

The university attaches great importance to scientific research and social services. It has 5 national-level scientific research platforms such as the National Clinical Research Base of Traditional Chinese Medicine, National Engineering Research Center, and National Local Joint Engineering Laboratory, and more than 40 provincial-level scientific research platforms. In recent years, the university has undertaken more than 1,000 national and provincial scientific research projects, and has won more than 100 national and provincial awards such as the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the National Technology Invention Award. The university actively promotes the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine and has established cooperative relations with more than 100 universities and scientific research institutions in more than 30 countries and regions. It is the vice-chairman unit of the Education Guidance Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.
