浙江财经大学东方学院是一所以经济、管理学科为主体，经、管、文、艺、法、理、工多学科协调发展的应用型本科院校，是1999年经浙江省人民政府批准、2004年经教育部确认的全日制本科独立学院，2010年9月从杭州市文华校区迁址至浙江省海宁市长安镇新校区。学院先后获评全国高等学校创业教育研究与实践先进单位、浙江省高等学校省级产教融合示范基地、浙江省课堂教学创新校、浙江省绿色学校（高等学校）、杭州亚运会及亚残运会先进集体，是浙江省首批十所应用型建设试点示范本科高校之一。

Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics Dongfang College is an application-oriented undergraduate institution with economics and management as its main disciplines, coordinated by multiple disciplines including economics, management, literature, art, law, science, and engineering. Established in 1999 with approval from the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2004, it is a full-time undergraduate independent college. In September 2010, it relocated from Hangzhou Wenhua Campus to the new campus in Chang'an Town, Haining City, Zhejiang Province. The college has been awarded titles such as "National Advanced Unit for Entrepreneurship Education Research and Practice in Higher Education Institutions", "Zhejiang Provincial Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base for Colleges and Universities", and is among the first batch of ten pilot demonstration undergraduate universities for application-oriented construction in Zhejiang Province.

学院坐落于历史文化名城、现代皮革之都、著名观潮胜地——海宁，占地938亩，建筑面积30万平方米，教学设施齐全，生活设施优良，校园环境幽雅。现有全日制在校本科生11000余人，专任教师400余人，外聘教师150余人，开设34个本科专业，紧密结合浙江经济社会发展需要，面向现代服务业、文化创意产业和公共行政管理领域。近年来，学院深化产教融合，建有省级一流本科专业建设点5个、省级一流本科课程48门，毕业生就业率连续多年居全省普通本科高校前列，用人单位综合满意度等指标位居全省独立学院前列。

Located in Haining, a famous historical and cultural city, modern leather capital, and renowned tide-watching resort, the college covers an area of 938 mu (625,333 square meters) with a building area of 300,000 square meters. It boasts complete teaching facilities, excellent living conditions, and a serene campus environment. The college has over 11,000 full-time undergraduate students, more than 400 full-time teachers, and over 150 part-time teachers, offering 34 undergraduate programs closely aligned with Zhejiang's economic and social development needs, focusing on modern service industry, cultural and creative industries, and public administration. In recent years, the college has deepened industry-education integration, established 5 provincial first-class undergraduate program construction sites and 48 provincial first-class undergraduate courses. Its graduate employment rate has ranked among the top of ordinary undergraduate universities in Zhejiang for many years, with employer satisfaction rates leading among independent colleges in the province.
