郑州航空工业管理学院是一所全日制普通本科院校，始建于1949年，前身为平原省立财经学校，历经多次更名与发展，1984年升格为本科院校并定名郑州航空工业管理学院。学校1999年转为中央与地方共建、以河南省为主的管理体制，2013年获批硕士学位授予单位，2017年成为河南省人民政府与中国民用航空局共建高校，2025年获批河南省博士学位重点立项培育单位。学校秉承“严谨、求实、开拓、进取”校训，以航空特色为引领，形成工、管、文、理等九大学科门类协调发展的学科专业体系，是河南省特色骨干学科建设高校和国家中西部高校基础能力建设工程规划高校。

Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics is a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution founded in 1949, formerly known as Pingyuan Provincial Finance and Economics School. After several name changes and developments, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 1984 and named Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics. In 1999, the university was transformed into a management system jointly built by the central and local governments, with Henan Province as the main administrator. It was approved as a master's degree-granting unit in 2013, became a university co-constructed by the People's Government of Henan Province and the Civil Aviation Administration of China in 2017, and was approved as a key project cultivation unit for doctoral degrees in Henan Province in 2025. Adhering to the motto of "Precision, Practicality, Exploration, and Progress", the university takes aviation characteristics as the lead, forming a coordinated development system of nine disciplines including engineering, management, arts, and science. It is a characteristic backbone discipline construction university in Henan Province and a planned university under the National Midwest University Basic Capacity Construction Project.

学校现有龙子湖校区等校区，占地2800余亩，建筑面积102万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值4.2亿元，图书馆馆藏纸质文献261万册。设有19个教学院（部）、1个中外合作办学机构，开设65个本科专业，其中国家级特色专业3个、国家级一流本科专业建设点13个。拥有8个一级硕士学位授权点、20个专业硕士学位授权点，现有全日制本科生、研究生、留学生25000余人，在职教职员工2000余人，其中高级职称教师712人、博士学位教师681人。学校注重产学研融合与国际交流，建有52个省级科研平台，与30多个国家和地区的80余所高校开展合作，培养了大批服务航空航天产业和区域经济社会发展的高素质复合型人才。

The university currently has campuses including Longzihu Campus, covering an area of over 2800 mu (about 1.87 square kilometers) with a building area of 1.02 million square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 420 million yuan, and the library has a collection of 2.61 million paper documents. It has 19 teaching colleges (departments), 1 Sino-foreign cooperative education institution, and offers 65 undergraduate majors, including 3 national-level characteristic majors and 13 national-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites. The university has 8 first-level master's degree authorization points and 20 professional master's degree authorization points. It currently has over 25,000 full-time undergraduates, postgraduates, and international students, and more than 2,000 in-service faculty and staff, including 712 with senior professional titles and 681 with doctoral degrees. Focusing on industry-university-research integration and international exchanges, the university has built 52 provincial-level scientific research platforms and carried out cooperation with more than 80 universities in over 30 countries and regions, cultivating a large number of high-quality compound talents serving the aerospace industry and regional economic and social development.
