遵义职业技术学院是经贵州省人民政府批准成立的公办全日制综合性普通高等职业院校，是贵州省优质高职院校、贵州省“双高”学校立项建设单位，占地面积833亩，现有10个教学院系（部），开设25个专业，涵盖农、商、理、工、文等多个领域。学校位于遵义市新蒲新区，距离遵义会议会址12公里，周边红色文化资源丰富，交通便利。目前有来自全国22个省（市、自治区）的学生及“一带一路”16个国家的留学生，在校生13000余人，教职工511人，其中双师素质教师占专任教师比例60%，博士、硕士研究生178人。

Zunyi Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time comprehensive higher vocational college approved by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government. It is a high-quality vocational college in Guizhou Province and a project construction unit of "Double High-Level" schools in Guizhou. Covering an area of 833 mu, the college has 10 teaching departments and offers 25 majors, covering agriculture, commerce, science, engineering, liberal arts and other fields. Located in Xinpu New District of Zunyi City, 12 kilometers away from the site of the Zunyi Conference, the college is surrounded by rich red cultural resources and enjoys convenient transportation. Currently, it has students from 22 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across the country and international students from 16 countries along the "Belt and Road", with a total of more than 13,000 students and 511 faculty members. Among the full-time teachers, 60% have dual-qualification (professional and teaching), and there are 178 doctoral and master's degree holders.

学校秉承“立修身之德、授就业之能、育创业之才”的办学理念，构建了“红色塑魂、蓝色致用、绿色出彩”的彩虹文化育人体系，2018年荣获贵州省职业教育教学成果一等奖，入选全国职业院校文化建设50强。建有智能温室大棚、动物医院、建筑结构实训中心等123个实验实训基地，与企业共建遵义直播电商产业学院、黔茶产业学院等特色学院，深化产教融合。近年来，学生在全国职业院校技能大赛中获国家级奖项13项，教师教学能力比赛获国赛奖5件，2022年“辣椒果实鲜重基因研究”项目获国家自然科学基金立项，学生就业率持续保持在90%以上。

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Cultivating moral integrity, imparting employment skills, and nurturing entrepreneurial talents", the college has built a "Rainbow Culture" education system featuring "Red for soul shaping, Blue for practical application, and Green for excellence". In 2018, it won the first prize of Guizhou Provincial Vocational Education Teaching Achievements and was selected into the top 50 national vocational college cultural construction. The college has 123 experimental training bases including intelligent greenhouses, animal hospitals, and architectural structure training centers, and has jointly established characteristic colleges such as Zunyi Live E-commerce Industry College and Qiancha Industry College with enterprises to deepen industry-education integration. In recent years, students have won 13 national awards in national vocational college skills competitions, teachers have won 5 national awards in teaching ability competitions, and the "Study on the Gene for Fresh Weight of Pepper Fruits" project received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2022. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 90%.
