郑州工商学院是经教育部批准设立的全日制普通本科高校，前身为2002年创办的河南理工大学万方科技学院，2016年转设为独立设置的民办普通本科高校，2025年获批硕士学位重点立项培育单位。学校现有郑州、兰考两个校区，分别位于郑州市郑东新区前程大道169号和开封市兰考县东泰路8号，设有工学院、信息工程学院、商学院等12个教学单位，开设39个本科专业，形成以经管学科为主，工、艺等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。

Zhengzhou Technology and Business University is a full-time private undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Wanfang College of Science and Technology of Henan Polytechnic University founded in 2002. It was transformed into an independent private undergraduate university in 2016 and approved as a key cultivation unit for master's degree programs in 2025. The university has two campuses in Zhengzhou and Lankao, located at No. 169 Qiancheng Avenue, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou and No. 8 Dongtai Road, Lankao County, Kaifeng respectively. It has 12 teaching units including the School of Engineering, School of Information Engineering, and School of Business, offering 39 undergraduate majors, forming a discipline system with economics and management as the main focus and coordinated development of engineering, art and other disciplines.

学校秉持“诚信勤奋”校训和“好学力行”校风，坚持地方性、应用型、开放式办学定位，构建“思政课程+课程思政+日常思政”三维育人格局，推行素质教育五项工程，打造“校政企研用协同、教学做赛创融通”的应用型人才培养模式。现有省级一流本科专业建设点等19个，省级重点学科4个，省级一流课程等31门，商科课程思政教学研究示范中心等省级平台5个，校外实习基地289个，馆藏纸质图书288万册，致力于培养思想品德好、专业基础实、实践能力强的高素质应用型人才。

Adhering to the school motto of "Integrity and Diligence" and the school spirit of "Eagerness to Learn and Perseverance in Practice", the university adheres to the local, application-oriented and open school-running orientation. It has constructed a three-dimensional education pattern of "ideological and political courses + curriculum ideological and political education + daily ideological and political education", implemented five projects of quality education, and created an application-oriented talent training model of "university-enterprise-government-research-application collaboration and integration of teaching, learning, practicing, competing and innovating". Currently, it has 19 provincial-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 4 provincial key disciplines, 31 provincial first-class courses, 5 provincial platforms including the Business Curriculum Ideological and Political Teaching Research Demonstration Center, 289 off-campus internship bases, and 2.88 million printed books in the library, dedicated to cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents with good ideological and moral character, solid professional foundation and strong practical ability.
