郑州商学院是由豫籍著名教育家王广亚博士为回馈桑梓、贡献家乡教育事业，于2004年高起点、高标准捐资创建的一所全日制普通本科高校。其前身是与河南财经政法大学合作建设的独立学院——河南财经政法大学成功学院；2012年转设为独立设置的普通本科高校——郑州成功财经学院；2018年更名为郑州商学院。2021年，学校顺利通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估，入选河南省硕士学位重点立项培育单位。

Zhengzhou Business University is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university founded in 2004 with a high starting point and high standards by Dr. Wang Guangya, a famous educator from Henan Province, to give back to his hometown and contribute to the local education cause. Its predecessor was Chenggong College of Henan University of Economics and Law, an independent college co-founded with Henan University of Economics and Law; in 2012, it was transformed into an independent ordinary undergraduate university - Zhengzhou Chenggong University of Finance and Economics; and in 2018, it was renamed Zhengzhou Business University. In 2021, the university successfully passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment by the Ministry of Education and was selected as a key project cultivation unit for master's degrees in Henan Province.

学校现有紫荆东校区、紫荆西校区和三彩校区共3个校区，占地面积2283亩，建筑面积50余万平方米。设有11个二级学院，涵盖7大学科门类，73个本专科专业（本科专业47个）。工商管理学科为省级重点学科，商务英语、工商管理、会计学、动画4个专业为省级一流本科专业建设点，形成了以经济学、管理学为主，文学、工学、艺术学、教育学、法学等多学科协调发展的专业布局。

The university currently has three campuses: Zijing East Campus, Zijing West Campus and Sancai Campus, covering an area of 2283 mu with a building area of more than 500,000 square meters. It has 11 secondary colleges, covering 7 disciplines and 73 undergraduate and junior college majors (47 undergraduate majors). The discipline of Business Administration is a provincial key discipline, and 4 majors including Business English, Business Administration, Accounting, and Animation are provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, forming a professional layout with economics and management as the mainstay, and coordinated development of literature, engineering, art, education, law and other disciplines.
