郑州黄河护理职业学院始建于1993年，是经河南省人民政府批准、教育部备案建立的全日制普通高等院校，由原河南医科大学副校长兼河南医科大学第一附属医院党委书记刘鼎业教授与刘仁教授、马明芬教授共同创建。学校秉承“以人为本、仁者爱人、止于至善”的办学理念，以培养高素质医护人才为核心，形成了以护理为特色，涵盖医学技术、康复治疗、药学等多领域的专业体系。

Zhengzhou Yellow River Nursing Vocational College was founded in 1993. It is a full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It was co-founded by Professor Liu Dingye, former vice president of Henan Medical University and secretary of the Party Committee of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical University, together with Professor Liu Ren and Professor Ma Mingfen. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "people-oriented, benevolent love, and pursuit of perfection", the college focuses on cultivating high-quality medical and nursing talents, forming a professional system featuring nursing and covering multiple fields such as medical technology, rehabilitation therapy, and pharmacy.

学校现有郑州高新校区和新密校区，总占地面积850亩，在校生17000余人，开设护理、助产、康复治疗技术等31个专业及方向。护理专业为河南省品牌专业，建有154个实验实训室及119家校外实习基地，先后荣获“河南省优秀民办学校”“河南省职业教育特色院校”等称号，32年来已培养七万余名医护人才服务于医疗卫生事业。

The college has two campuses: Zhengzhou High-tech Campus and Xinmi Campus, covering a total area of 850 mu, with more than 17,000 students. It offers 31 majors and directions including Nursing, Midwifery, and Rehabilitation Therapy Technology. The Nursing major is a brand major in Henan Province. The college has built 154 experimental training rooms and 119 off-campus internship bases, and has successively won titles such as "Excellent Private School in Henan Province" and "Characteristic Vocational Education Institution in Henan Province". Over the past 32 years, it has trained more than 70,000 medical and nursing talents serving the medical and health industry.
