郑州经贸学院前身为中原工学院信息商务学院，成立于2003年4月，于2020年6月30日转设为郑州经贸学院，系独立设置的本科层次民办普通高等学校，由河南省教育厅主管。

Zhengzhou University of Economics and Business, formerly known as the Information and Business College of Zhongyuan University of Technology, was founded in April 2003. It was transformed into Zhengzhou University of Economics and Business on June 30, 2020, and is an independently established private ordinary higher education institution at the undergraduate level, administered by the Department of Education of Henan Province.

学校现有学科涵盖管理学、经济学、工学、艺术学、文学、法学等六大学科门类，现有本科专业46个，专科专业29个，逐渐形成了以经济管理类专业群为主体，以智慧制造和计算机与人工智能类专业群、艺术设计和传媒类专业群为两翼的“一体两翼”学科专业建设格局。学校主校区位于河南省郑州市南龙湖宜居教育园区双湖大道2号，北校区位于河南省郑州市中原中路41号，占地面积766亩。

The university currently covers six disciplines: Management, Economics, Engineering, Art, Literature, and Law, with 46 undergraduate programs and 29 junior college programs. It has gradually formed a "One Body, Two Wings" discipline construction pattern, with economic and management majors as the main body, and smart manufacturing, computer and artificial intelligence majors, and art design and media majors as the two wings. The main campus is located at No. 2 Shuanghu Avenue, Nanlonghu Livable Education Park, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, and the North Campus is located at No. 41 Zhongyuan Middle Road, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, covering an area of 766 mu.
