株洲师范高等专科学校是2020年经湖南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制公办普通高等学校，坐落在全国文明城市“神农福地、制造名城”——湖南株洲。学校以1980年建校的株洲市幼儿师范学校为主体重新设置办学，是全国中华优秀传统文化教育基地、湖南省首批非物质文化遗产保护项目传承基地，先后获国家职业教育改革与发展示范学校、全国教育系统先进集体、全国红十字模范单位等荣誉。

Zhuzhou Teachers College is a full-time public ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Hunan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2020. It is located in Zhuzhou, Hunan, a national civilized city known as the "Shennong Blessed Land and Manufacturing Famous City". The school was re-established with the former Zhuzhou Preschool Normal School founded in 1980 as its main body. It is a national education base for excellent traditional Chinese culture and one of the first inheritance bases for intangible cultural heritage protection projects in Hunan Province. It has successively won honors such as the National Model School for Vocational Education Reform and Development, the National Advanced Collective in Education System, and the National Red Cross Model Unit.

学校设有小学教育学院、学前教育学院等五个院部，开设早期教育、学前教育、小学教育、音乐教育、视觉传达设计等12个专业，形成学前教育、小学教育、文化艺术和信息技术四大专业群。音乐教育、视觉传达设计专业教学团队被评为湖南省楚怡教师教学创新团队。学校紧扣立德树人根本任务，坚持党建引领，质量立校，人才强校，努力建设特色鲜明、三湘一流的师范高等专科学校。

The school has five colleges and departments including the School of Primary Education and the School of Preschool Education, offering 12 majors such as Early Education, Preschool Education, Primary Education, Music Education, and Visual Communication Design, forming four major groups: Preschool Education, Primary Education, Culture and Art, and Information Technology. The teaching teams of Music Education and Visual Communication Design have been rated as Hunan Chuyi Teachers' Teaching Innovation Teams.
