郑州体育职业学院于2020年经河南省人民政府批准成立，是一所专科层次的全日制普通高等职业学校，坐落于郑州市登封少林大道西段，毗邻嵩山和少林寺，南北两校区总占地面积逾900亩，已建成建筑面积30万平方米。学院拥有教学楼、实训楼、图书馆、体育馆、游泳馆等“三楼四馆五场”教学训练设施，配备运动解剖、运动生理等专业实验室及先进实训设备，是河南省第一所独立设置的体育类高等专科院校。

Zhengzhou Vocational College of Physical Education was approved by the People's Government of Henan Province in 2020. It is a full-time public higher vocational school at the junior college level, located in the west section of Shaolin Avenue, Dengfeng, Zhengzhou City, adjacent to Mount Song and Shaolin Temple. The north and south campuses cover a total area of over 900 mu, with a completed construction area of 300,000 square meters. The college has teaching and training facilities including "three buildings, four halls and five fields" such as teaching buildings, training buildings, libraries, gymnasiums, and swimming pools, equipped with professional laboratories for sports anatomy, sports physiology, and advanced training equipment. It is the first independently established higher vocational college of physical education in Henan Province.

学院现有教职工800余人，专职教师673人，研究生学历占比57.3%，在校生规模达万人。开设体育、电子信息、旅游、财经商贸等领域40余个专业，形成武术、健身等特色专业群，专升本录取率超50%，600余名学生应征入伍。学院秉持“志存高远、追求卓越”校训，深化产教融合，与200余家单位合作，培养应用型体育人才，就业领域覆盖全国。

The college has more than 800 faculty members, including 673 full-time teachers, with 57.3% holding postgraduate degrees, and a student population of 10,000. It offers over 40 majors in fields such as physical education, electronic information, tourism, and finance and commerce, forming characteristic professional groups in martial arts and fitness. The admission rate for undergraduate programs exceeds 50%, and over 600 students have joined the military. Adhering to the school motto of "Aspire High and Pursue Excellence", the college deepens industry-education integration, cooperates with more than 200 units, cultivates applied sports talents, and employment covers the whole country.
