重庆工信职业学院是经重庆市人民政府批准、教育部备案的综合类工科全日制公办普通高等院校，主管单位为重庆市经济和信息化委员会。学院始建于1984年，前身为重庆职工会计专科学校，2021年转设为重庆工信职业学院，同年整合重庆市工业学校、重庆铁路运输高级技工学校优质教育资源，形成“一校三区”办学格局，现有渝中、长寿、沙坪坝三个校区，总占地833亩，建筑面积26万平方米，可容纳在校学生1万余人。

Chongqing Institute of Industry and Information Technology is a comprehensive public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education, under the supervision of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology. Founded in 1984, the college was formerly known as Chongqing Staff Accounting College. It was restructured into its current name in 2021, and in the same year, it integrated high-quality educational resources from Chongqing Industrial School and Chongqing Railway Transportation Senior Technical School, forming a "one college, three campuses" layout. With three campuses located in Yuzhong, Changshou, and Shapingba districts, it covers a total area of 833 mu (about 555,333 square meters) with a building area of 260,000 square meters, capable of accommodating over 10,000 students.

学院以智能制造、轨道交通、信息技术、现代服务、制药环保等产业为核心布局专业，拥有实训实验室90余间、校外实训基地40余个，纸质图书10万余册、电子图书500余万册。师资队伍中副高级以上职称教师占比达60%，“双师型”教师超80%，并引进世界技能大赛金牌获得者、全国技术能手等领军人才。作为长江经济带轨道交通职教联盟发起单位，学院坚持“德技并修、工学结合”育人模式，重点服务成渝地区双城经济圈主导产业，为社会培养高素质技术技能人才。

The college focuses on majors related to intelligent manufacturing, rail transit, information technology, modern services, pharmaceutical and environmental protection industries. It boasts over 90 training laboratories, more than 40 off-campus training bases, over 100,000 paper books, and more than 5 million e-books. Among its teaching staff, 60% hold senior professional titles, over 80% are "dual-qualified" teachers (with both academic and industry experience), and it has introduced leading talents such as World Skills Competition gold medalists and national technical experts. As a founding member of the Yangtze River Economic Belt Rail Transit Vocational Education Alliance, the college adheres to the educational model of "integrating moral and technical education, combining work and study", focusing on serving the leading industries in the Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-City Economic Circle and cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for society.
