长江大学文理学院（Yangtze University College of Arts and Sciences）是2004年经国家教育部确认、由长江大学和荆州城发教育发展有限公司举办的全日制普通高等学校（独立学院），上级主管部门为湖北省教育厅。学校地处国家历史文化名城——湖北省荆州市，新校园位于荆州大学城，依江而建，校园占地面积566亩，校舍建筑面积22.93万平方米，于2023年4月投入使用。

Yangtze University College of Arts and Sciences is a full-time ordinary institution of higher education (independent college) confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2004, jointly sponsored by Yangtze University and Jingzhou Chengfa Education Development Co., Ltd. Its superior competent department is the Hubei Provincial Department of Education. Located in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, a national historical and cultural city, the new campus is situated in Jingzhou University Town, built along the river, covering an area of 566 mu with a building area of 229,300 square meters, and was put into use in April 2023.

学校学科门类齐全，涵盖经济学、法学、教育学、文学、理学、工学、农学、医学、管理学、艺术学等10个学科门类，设有11个教学单位，45个本科专业、16个专科专业。拥有各类实验室109个，校内外实习基地184个，教学科研仪器设备总值近亿元，图书馆纸质藏书79.9万册，全文电子图书151万册（含共享）。商务英语、英语、市场营销等3个专业为湖北省一流本科专业建设点，9门课程被列为省级一流本科课程。

The college has a comprehensive range of disciplines, covering 10 fields including Economics, Law, Education, Literature, Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Management, and Art. It comprises 11 teaching units, offering 45 undergraduate programs and 16 junior college programs. The college boasts 109 laboratories of various types, 184 off-campus internship bases, with teaching and research equipment worth nearly 100 million yuan. The library has 799,000 paper books and 1.51 million full-text e-books (including shared resources). Three majors, namely Business English, English, and Marketing, are listed as Hubei Provincial First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites, and 9 courses have been designated as provincial first-class undergraduate courses.

学校秉承“立足荆州，面向湖北，辐射全国”的办学定位，以培养“适应社会、适应竞争、适应发展的实用性、应用型人才”为目标，依托长江大学优质教育资源，注重实践能力培养和创新创业教育，已为社会输送万余名优秀毕业生，先后荣获教育部首届全国民办高校党的建设与思想政治工作优秀成果特等奖、新华网“魅力高校”等荣誉称号。

Adhering to the school-running orientation of "based in Jingzhou, facing Hubei, and radiating the whole country", the college aims to cultivate "practical and applied talents who can adapt to society, competition, and development". Relying on the high-quality educational resources of Yangtze University, it emphasizes practical ability training and innovation and entrepreneurship education. Having delivered tens of thousands of outstanding graduates to society, the college has successively won honors such as the Special Prize of the First National Private University Party Building and Ideological and Political Work Excellent Achievements by the Ministry of Education, and the "Charming University" title by Xinhuanet.
