长沙职业技术学院是一所由长沙市人民政府主办、教学业务由湖南省教育厅主管的全日制高等职业院校，坐落于湖南湘江新区。学校办学历史悠久，前身是由谭嗣同夫人李闰等人于1902年创办的浏阳驻省师范学堂。学校现有雷锋（主校区）和浏阳（东校区）2个校区，占地面积600余亩，在校学生约11000人，教职工近600人，其中硕士、博士学位教师占专任教师比例达57.57%，副高级及以上专业技术职称教师130余人。

Changsha Vocational & Technical College is a full-time higher vocational college sponsored by the Changsha Municipal People's Government and under the academic supervision of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, located in the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area. With a long history, the college traces its roots to the Liuyang Normal School in the Provincial Capital founded in 1902 by Li Run, the wife of Tan Sitong, among others. It currently has two campuses: Leifeng (main campus) and Liuyang (east campus), covering an area of over 600 mu. There are approximately 11,000 students and nearly 600 faculty members, with 57.57% of full-time teachers holding master's or doctoral degrees and over 130 teachers having associate senior titles or above.

学校设有智能制造工程学院、汽车工程学院、信息工程与商务学院、建筑工程学院、特殊教育学院、学前教育学院等教学单位，开设智能控制技术、机械制造及自动化、汽车检测与维修技术、计算机网络技术、特殊教育、学前教育等28个专业。其中，机械制造与自动化、汽车运用与维修技术、特殊教育专业被教育部认定为骨干专业，现代装备制造与服务、智慧商务服务、特殊教育专业群为湖南省一流特色专业群，机械制造及自动化专业群、特殊教育专业群入围湖南省楚怡高水平高职专业群建设单位A档。

The college comprises teaching units such as the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, School of Automotive Engineering, School of Information Engineering and Business, School of Civil Engineering, School of Special Education, and School of Preschool Education, offering 28 majors including Intelligent Control Technology, Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Technology, Computer Network Technology, Special Education, and Preschool Education. Among these, Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Automobile Application and Maintenance Technology, and Special Education are recognized as key majors by the Ministry of Education. The modern equipment manufacturing and service, intelligent business service, and special education professional groups are first-class characteristic professional groups in Hunan Province, with the Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation and Special Education professional groups listed as Grade A construction units for Hunan Chuyi High-level Vocational Professional Groups.

学校是教育部第一批职业院校数字校园建设试点学校、全国雷锋精神职业教育联盟理事长单位，坚持“培养雷锋式职业人”的育人理念，依托地处雷锋故乡的优势，建成全国首个雷锋精神职业教育实践教学基地。学校深化产教融合，与中联重工、三一集团、比亚迪等200余家企业合作，共建120余个实训基地及多个产业学院，学生综合就业率连续多年保持在90%以上，获评湖南省高职院校育人成效20强、教学资源20强，先后荣获湖南省文明校园、湖南省平安建设示范校等荣誉称号。

As one of the first pilot schools for digital campus construction in vocational colleges designated by the Ministry of Education and the chairman unit of the National Vocational Education Alliance for Lei Feng Spirit, the college adheres to the educational philosophy of "cultivating Lei Feng-style professionals". Leveraging its location in Lei Feng's hometown, it has built the country's first practical teaching base for Lei Feng spirit vocational education. Deepening industry-education integration, the college has collaborated with over 200 enterprises including Zoomlion Heavy Industry, Sany Group, and BYD, establishing more than 120 training bases and multiple industrial colleges. The comprehensive employment rate of students has remained above 90% for years, and the college has been rated among the top 20 vocational colleges in Hunan for educational effectiveness and teaching resources. It has also been awarded honors such as "Civilized Campus of Hunan Province" and "Model School for Safe Construction in Hunan Province".
