广东司法警官职业学院是经广东省人民政府批准设置、具有高等学历招生资格的省属公办全日制普通高等院校，是广东省唯一一所培养司法警官人才的高等职业院校，是广东司法行政工作专门人才培养基地、干警素质提升基地、司法行政工作应用性理论研究基地和法治文化传承创新基地。学院2002年4月经广东省人民政府批准，在广东省司法警察学校（始建于1982年4月）、广东司法学校（始建于1982年11月）基础上合并组建而成，归属省司法厅管理，业务受省教育厅指导，设龙洞和石井两校区，主校区位于广州市天河区龙洞街。

Guangdong Justice Police Vocational College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province with the qualification for higher education enrollment. It is the only higher vocational college in Guangdong Province that cultivates judicial police talents, serving as a training base for specialized talents in judicial administrative work, a base for improving the quality of police officers, an applied theoretical research base for judicial administrative work, and an innovative base for inheriting the culture of the rule of law. Approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province in April 2002, the college was established by merging Guangdong Judicial Police School (founded in April 1982) and Guangdong Judicial School (founded in November 1982). It is administered by the Provincial Department of Justice and guided by the Provincial Department of Education in terms of teaching and professional construction, with two campuses in Longdong and Shijing, and the main campus located in Longdong Street, Tianhe District, Guangzhou.

学院遵循“警魂塑校、质量立校、人才强校、特色兴校”的办学理念，秉承“忠诚、明法、勤学、强警”校训，以创建高水平司法警察职业院校为目标，着力培养富于法律智慧、正义良知，拥有创新精神和实践能力的高素质技术技能型人才。现开设刑事执行、司法警务、刑事侦查技术等17个专业，其中7个专业为国控专业，刑事执行专业和司法警务专业分别为中央财政支持的重点专业和广东省重点专业。学院建有司法鉴定中心、模拟监禁中心、刑事侦查技术实训中心等完善的实验实训基地，并与司法行政系统各单位合作建立了57个校外实训基地，形成了理论、实训、顶岗实习三位一体的人才培养模式。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "shaping the school with police spirit, establishing the school with quality, strengthening the school with talents, and prospering the school with characteristics" and the school motto of "Loyalty, Law-abiding, Diligence, and Strong Police", the college aims to build a high-level judicial police vocational college, focusing on cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents with legal wisdom, sense of justice and良知, innovative spirit and practical ability. Currently, it offers 17 majors including Criminal Execution, Judicial Police, and Criminal Investigation Technology, among which 7 are nationally controlled majors. The Criminal Execution major and Judicial Police major are key majors supported by the central finance and key majors in Guangdong Province respectively. The college has established a complete experimental and training base such as a judicial authentication center, a simulated detention center, and a criminal investigation technology training center, and has established 57 off-campus training bases in cooperation with various units of the judicial administrative system, forming a talent training model integrating theory, training and internship.
