广东女子职业技术学院是广东省教育厅直属的华南地区唯一一所公办女子高职院校，创办于1981年，前身为广东省妇女干部学校。2020年4月被确定为省示范性高等职业院校，2022年立项为“省域高水平高等职业院校建设计划培育单位”，2023年获批设立省博士工作站。学校以“立德树人”为根本任务，致力于培养具有高尚品德、高雅气质和高新技能的创新性女性技术技能人才，形成以女性高等职业教育为主，涵盖妇女干部教育、技能培训、创新创业教育的多形式办学格局。

Guangdong Women's Polytechnic College is the only public women's vocational college in South China directly under the Department of Education of Guangdong Province. Founded in 1981, its predecessor was the Guangdong Provincial Women's Cadre School. In April 2020, it was designated as a Provincial Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, and in 2022, it was approved as a "Cultivation Unit for the Provincial High-level Higher Vocational College Construction Plan". In 2023, it was approved to establish a Provincial Doctoral Workstation. With "fostering virtue through education" as its fundamental mission, the college is committed to cultivating innovative female technical and skilled talents with noble morality, elegant temperament, and advanced skills, forming a multi-form school-running pattern centered on women's higher vocational education, covering women's cadre education, skills training, and innovation and entrepreneurship education.

学校现有番禺、海珠两个校区（清远校区筹建中），主校区位于广州市番禺区，毗邻广州亚运城。截至2023年6月，在校生9300余人，设有教育学院、外语外贸学院等5个全日制二级学院，开设近30个专业。拥有204个校内实训室、25个实训基地及189个校外实习实训基地，图书馆藏书75万余册。毕业生就业率连续多年保持98%以上，第三方调查显示毕业生母校满意度达98%以上，显著高于全国同类院校平均水平。

The college currently has two campuses in Panyu and Haizhu (Qingyuan campus is under preparation), with the main campus located in Panyu District, Guangzhou, adjacent to the Guangzhou Asian Games City. As of June 2023, there are over 9,300 students, and it has 5 full-time secondary colleges including the School of Education and the School of Foreign Languages and International Trade, offering nearly 30 majors. It boasts 204 on-campus training rooms, 25 training bases, and 189 off-campus internship and training bases, with a library collection of over 750,000 books. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 98% for many years, and third-party surveys show that the graduate satisfaction rate with their alma mater exceeds 98%, significantly higher than the national average of similar institutions.
