广州民航职业技术学院是民航内最早一所独立设置实施高等职业教育的全日制公办普通高校，直属中国民用航空局，是中国民用航空局与广东省人民政府共建高校，入选国家示范性高等职业院校、国家优质专科高等职业院校、中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划。学校源自1980年由原中国民航广州管理局举办的技工学校，1984年成立中国民航广州中等专业学校，1999年经教育部批准升格为高等职业技术学院。

Guangzhou Civil Aviation College is the earliest full-time public ordinary college independently established to implement higher vocational education in the civil aviation industry. It is directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of China and a joint construction college by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province. It has been selected into the National Demonstrative Higher Vocational Colleges, National High-quality Vocational Colleges, and the Plan for Building High-level Vocational Schools and Specialties with Chinese Characteristics. The college originated from the technical school founded by the former Civil Aviation Administration of China Guangzhou Administration Bureau in 1980, was established as China Civil Aviation Guangzhou Secondary Professional School in 1984, and was upgraded to a higher vocational and technical college with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 1999.

学校现有机场路、白云机场、花都赤坭三个校区，总占地1112亩，固定资产总值约12.8亿元，拥有29架教学用飞机、140台飞机发动机及大量专业实训设备。下设飞机维修工程学院、航空港管理学院等六个二级学院，开设飞机机电设备维修、航空物流管理、空中乘务等55个专业方向，在校生1.6万余人。教职工719人，其中专任教师574人，双师素质专业教师占比88.5%，持有民航行业职业资格证书的教师比例达62.7%。

The college currently has three campuses: Airport Road, Baiyun Airport, and Huadu Chini, covering a total area of 1112 mu, with a total fixed assets value of approximately 1.28 billion yuan. It has 29 teaching aircraft, 140 aircraft engines, and a large number of professional training equipment. It has six secondary colleges including the College of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and the College of Airport Management, offering 55 professional directions such as aircraft mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance, aviation logistics management, and flight attendant, with more than 16,000 students. There are 719 faculty members, including 574 full-time teachers, 88.5% of professional teachers with double-qualified quality, and 62.7% of teachers holding civil aviation industry vocational qualification certificates.

学校秉持"依托行业、产学合作、双师双证、国际通用"的办学特色，构建了基于行业标准的技术技能人才培养模式，与国内外航空企业深度合作，毕业生就业率长期保持90%以上，民航特有专业对口率超90%，为我国民航事业培养了大批高素质技术技能人才，被誉为"民航高技能人才的摇篮"。

Adhering to the school-running characteristics of "relying on the industry, industry-university cooperation, double teachers and double certificates, and international通用", the college has built a technical and skilled talent training model based on industry standards, and has in-depth cooperation with domestic and foreign aviation enterprises. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 90% for a long time, and the counterpart rate of civil aviation-specific majors exceeds 90%. It has cultivated a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents for China's civil aviation industry and is known as "the cradle of civil aviation high-skilled talents".
