广州职业技术大学是经教育部批准设立的公办本科层次职业学校，前身为1993年筹建的番禺理工学院，历经番禺职业技术学院、广州番禺职业技术学院等发展阶段，2025年6月正式更名。学校立足广州、面向粤港澳大湾区，以培养高素质技术技能人才为目标，重点对接先进制造、新一代信息技术、现代服务三大产业领域，首批设置智能制造工程技术、新能源汽车工程技术、智能建造工程等6个本科专业。

Guangzhou Polytechnic University is a public undergraduate vocational university approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Panyu Institute of Technology, founded in 1993, and went through developmental stages such as Panyu Polytechnic and Guangzhou Panyu Polytechnic before being officially renamed in June 2025. Based in Guangzhou and oriented towards the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the university aims to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents, focusing on three major industrial fields: advanced manufacturing, new-generation information technology, and modern services, with 6 undergraduate programs initially offered, including Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Technology, New Energy Vehicle Engineering Technology, and Intelligent Construction Engineering.

学校现有青山湖、元岗两个校区，总占地面积1880亩，校舍建筑面积39.23万平方米，馆藏纸质图书139万余册。设有智能制造学院、信息工程学院等15个二级学院（部），拥有多个国家级、省级高水平专业群，是国家示范性高等职业院校、中国特色高水平高职学校建设单位，获评教育部职业院校国际影响力50强，建有中芬职业教育培训中心等国际合作平台。

The university currently has two campuses, Qingshanhu and Yuangang, covering a total area of 1,880 mu with a building area of 392,300 square meters and a collection of over 1.39 million paper books. It has 15 secondary colleges (departments) including the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and the School of Information Engineering, with multiple national and provincial high-level professional groups. It is a national model higher vocational college, a construction unit of China's high-level vocational schools with distinctive features, ranked among the top 50 vocational colleges in international influence by the Ministry of Education, and has established international cooperation platforms such as the Sino-Finnish Vocational Education Training Center.
