湖南劳动人事职业学院创办于1982年，是省属公办高职院校。学院紧密对接湖南省4×4现代化产业体系，积极服务湖南自贸区、长沙经开区产业升级，设有6个二级学院30个专业（含方向），人力资源管理、跨境电子商务两个专业群为湖南省楚怡高水平专业群，人力资源管理教师团队为湖南省楚怡教师教学创新团队。

Hunan Labor and Human Resources Vocational College, founded in 1982, is a public vocational college directly under the province. Closely aligned with Hunan's 4×4 modern industrial system, the college actively serves the industrial upgrading of Hunan Free Trade Zone and Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone. It comprises 6 secondary colleges offering 30 majors (including specializations). The two professional groups of Human Resource Management and Cross-border E-commerce are recognized as Hunan Chuyi High-level Professional Groups, and the Human Resource Management teaching team is honored as Hunan Chuyi Teacher Teaching Innovation Team.

学院位于国家级长沙经开区星沙产业基地，东接长沙黄花国际机场、长沙自贸临空区，西北与松雅湖国家湿地公园相邻，周边产业集聚，交通便利，属湖南自贸区核心片区。与比亚迪、中联重科、蓝思科技等40余家头部企业开展深度校企合作，牵头成立8家产业学院，2024届毕业生初次毕业去向落实率达91.52%，获评湖南省高校就业创业一把手工程督查优秀单位。

The college is located in the Xingsha Industrial Base of the national-level Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is adjacent to Changsha Huanghua International Airport and Changsha Free Trade Airport Zone in the east, and borders the Songya Lake National Wetland Park in the northwest. Surrounded by industrial clusters and with convenient transportation, it lies in the core area of Hunan Free Trade Zone. The college has established in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with over 40 leading enterprises such as BYD, Zoomlion, and Lens Technology, and has taken the lead in establishing 8 industrial colleges. The initial employment rate of the 2024 graduates reached 91.52%, and the college was awarded the Excellent Unit in the Supervision of the "Top Leader Project" for Employment and Entrepreneurship in Hunan Colleges and Universities.

In recent years, it has been awarded honors such as Hunan Civilized College, Civilized Model Campus of Hunan Provincial Organs, National First-aid Education Pilot School, and one of the Top 10 National Revolutionary Old Area Vocational Education Model Cases (the only one in Hunan).
