江西财经大学是一所财政部、教育部、江西省人民政府共建，以经济、管理类学科为主，法、工、文、理、艺术等学科协调发展的高等财经学府。学校坐落于英雄城南昌，现有蛟桥园、麦庐园、枫林园、青山园四个校区，占地面积2200余亩，建筑面积100余万平方米。

Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics is a higher financial and economic institution jointly built by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province. It focuses on economics and management disciplines, with coordinated development of law, engineering, literature, science, art and other disciplines. Located in Nanchang, the Hero City, the university has four campuses: Jiaoqiao, Mailu, Fenglin and Qingshan, covering an area of more than 2,200 mu and a building area of more than 1 million square meters.

Founded in 1923, the university has gone through several development stages. It was established as Jiangxi Institute of Finance and Economics in 1958 and renamed Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in 1996.
