温州大学是一所浙江省重点建设高校，坐落于中国民营经济先发地温州。学校肇始于1933年创办的浙江省立温州师范学校，历经八十余载发展，已形成涵盖经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、农学、管理学、艺术学等十大学科门类的综合性大学。学校现有茶山和学院路两个校区，占地总面积1973.44亩，校舍建筑面积106.36万平方米，拥有功能齐全、设施先进的教学科研平台，为学生提供优质的学习生活环境。

Wenzhou University is a key construction university in Zhejiang Province, located in Wenzhou, the birthplace of China's private economy. Founded in 1933 as Zhejiang Provincial Wenzhou Normal School, the university has developed over more than 80 years into a comprehensive university covering ten disciplines including economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, management, and art. The university has two campuses, Chashan and Xueyuan Road, covering a total area of 1973.44 mu with a building area of 1,063,600 square meters. It boasts fully functional and advanced teaching and research platforms, providing students with a high-quality learning and living environment.

学校坚持立德树人根本任务，以“求学问是、敢为人先”为校训，致力于培养具有家国情怀、国际视野、创新精神和实践能力的高素质人才。现有全日制在校生2.4万余人，其中研究生3000余人。师资队伍结构合理，现有教职工2100余人，其中高级职称教师占比超过40%，拥有一批国家级、省级人才工程入选者和学科带头人。学校注重学科建设，拥有5个浙江省一流学科（A类2个、B类3个），15个一级学科硕士点，17个硕士专业学位授权点，形成了以人文社科和理工科为重点，多学科协调发展的学科体系。

Adhering to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and with the school motto of "Seeking Knowledge and Truth, Daring to Be the First", the university is committed to cultivating high-quality talents with patriotic feelings, international vision, innovative spirit and practical ability. Currently, it has over 24,000 full-time students, including more than 3,000 postgraduates. The faculty structure is reasonable, with over 2,100 teaching and administrative staff, among whom more than 40% have senior professional titles. There are a number of national and provincial talent project winners and academic leaders. The university attaches importance to discipline construction, with 5 first-class disciplines in Zhejiang Province (2 Class A and 3 Class B), 15 first-level discipline master's programs, and 17 professional master's degree authorization programs, forming a discipline system focusing on humanities, social sciences, science and engineering, with coordinated development of multiple disciplines.

在科研创新方面，学校主动对接国家和区域发展战略，建有国家级科研平台2个，省部级科研平台30余个，近年来承担国家级、省部级科研项目1000余项，获得省部级以上科研奖励80余项。学校积极推进产学研融合，与温州及周边地区的企业建立紧密合作关系，促进科技成果转化，为地方经济社会发展提供有力支撑。同时，学校重视国际交流与合作，与30多个国家和地区的100多所高校建立友好合作关系，开展多种形式的学生交换、联合培养和科研合作项目，国际化办学水平不断提升。
