兰州职业技术学院是兰州市政府所属的全日制普通高等职业院校，其办学历史可追溯到1904年甘肃文高等学堂附设师范馆。2001年经甘肃省政府批准、教育部备案成立兰州职业技术学院，2011年挂牌成立甘肃工商技师学院。学院现有总校区、雁儿湾校区、桃林校区3个校区，占地面积462亩，设10个二级学院、3个教学部，在校生13000余人，教职工768人，其中副高职称以上教师295人，博士、硕士研究生376人。学院秉持“公诚勤勇精严专工”校训，是全国文明单位、全国职业教育先进单位、首批甘肃省高水平高职学校，2025年入选第二期甘肃省“双高计划”高水平高职学校建设单位，重点建设文物修复与保护、数控技术两个省级高水平专业群，拥有数控技术、学前教育等国家级骨干专业及7个省级骨干专业，建成100余个校内实训中心和54个校外实习实训基地，其中国家级生产性实训基地3个、国家示范性虚拟仿真实训基地1个，近三年学生在全国职业技能大赛中获金奖2项、银奖1项、铜奖3项，在“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛全国总决赛获金奖1项。

Lanzhou Vocational Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college affiliated to Lanzhou Municipal Government, with its educational history dating back to the Normal School attached to Gansu Wen Gao School founded in 1904. Approved by Gansu Provincial Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2001, it established Gansu Institute of Business and Technology in 2011. The college has 3 campuses (Main Campus, Yan'erwan Campus, Taolin Campus) covering an area of 462 mu, comprising 10 secondary colleges and 3 teaching departments, with over 13,000 students and 768 faculty members, including 295 associate senior titles and 376 doctors/master's degree holders. Adhering to the motto "Integrity, Sincerity, Diligence, Courage, Precision, Strictness, Specialization, Industry", it is honored as National Civilized Unit, National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education, and first batch of Gansu Provincial High-level Vocational College. Selected into the second phase of Gansu "Double High-Level Plan" in 2025, it focuses on constructing two provincial high-level professional groups (Cultural Relics Restoration and Protection, Numerical Control Technology), featuring national key majors like Numerical Control Technology and Preschool Education, 7 provincial key majors, over 100 on-campus training centers and 54 off-campus internships bases (including 3 national productive training bases and 1 national demonstration virtual simulation training base). In recent three years, students have won 2 golds, 1 silver and 3 bronzes in national vocational skills competitions, and 1 gold in the National Finals of "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

学院师资力量雄厚，拥有中国职业教育杰出校长1人、甘肃省领军人才4人、陇原青年英才5人，建成省级教学团队11个、省级在线精品课程22门，承担28个"1+X"证书试点项目，获省级教学成果奖12项。学院深化产教融合，牵头组建甘肃省学前教育、文化产业职业教育集团，成立兰州市网络安全学院、甘肃首个鲲鹏产业学院及兰州牛肉拉面产业学院，与百余家企业建立校企合作关系，建有第46、47届世界技能大赛国家集训基地2个、国家级协同创新中心1个，形成"德技并修、工学结合"的人才培养模式，毕业生就业率连续保持全省高职前列，被誉为"西北职业教育的一面旗帜"。

The college boasts strong faculty with 1 National Outstanding Principal in Vocational Education, 4 Gansu Provincial Leading Talents, and 5 Longyuan Youth Talents. It has established 11 provincial teaching teams, 22 provincial online quality courses, undertaking 28 "1+X" certificate pilot projects and winning 12 provincial teaching achievement awards. Deepening industry-education integration, it leads Gansu Preschool Education and Cultural Industry Vocational Education Groups, established Lanzhou Cybersecurity College, Gansu's first Kunpeng Industry College and Lanzhou Beef Noodle Industry College, cooperating with over 100 enterprises. Home to 2 National Training Bases for the 46th/47th WorldSkills Competition and 1 National Collaborative Innovation Center, it has formed a talent cultivation model of "morality and skills integration, work-study combination".
