马鞍山职业技术学院坐落于全国文明城市、中国诗歌之城——安徽省马鞍山市，前身为1984年创办的马鞍山联合大学。2008年2月经安徽省人民政府批准独立设置并更名，2011年至2019年间先后整合安徽马鞍山技师学院、马鞍山卫生学校及马鞍山网络大学（现马鞍山开放大学），2021年获批安徽省技能型高水平大学建设单位，2023年启动与安徽工业大学的专升本联合培养项目。

Ma'anshan Technical College is located in Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province, a national civilized city and China's poetry city. Its predecessor was Ma'anshan United University founded in 1984. Approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province in February 2008, it was independently established and renamed. From 2011 to 2019, it successively integrated Anhui Ma'anshan Technician College, Ma'anshan Health School and Ma'anshan Online University (now Ma'anshan Open University). In 2021, it was approved as a construction unit of Anhui Province's high-level skilled university, and in 2023, it launched a joint undergraduate program with Anhui University of Technology.

学院现有占地面积40.6万平方米，建筑面积19万平方米，设7个专业教学系及2个教学部，开设中高职专业50个，全日制在校生超万人。教职工437人中，副高及以上职称教师137人，专业课"双师"素质教师占比82.2%，拥有10个省市级技术技能大师工作室。作为国家高技能人才培养示范基地，学院构建了以高职教育为主体，学历教育与职业培训并举的办学格局，年均开展社会培训超1.2万人次，毕业生就业率连续保持98%以上。

The college currently covers an area of 406,000 square meters with a building area of 190,000 square meters. It has 7 professional teaching departments and 2 teaching sections, offering 50 secondary and higher vocational majors with over 10,000 full-time students. Among the 437 faculty members, 137 have associate senior titles or above, 82.2% of professional course teachers have "double-qualified" qualifications, and there are 10 provincial and municipal technical skill master studios. As a national demonstration base for high-skilled talent training, the college has established an educational pattern centered on higher vocational education, combining academic education with vocational training, carrying out over 12,000 person-times of social training annually, and maintaining a graduate employment rate of over 98% for consecutive years.

学院深化产教融合，与长三角地区300余家企业建立合作关系，共建国家级生产性实训基地1个、省级校企合作示范基地3个，形成"大师团队引领""实境实品"等特色人才培养模式。师生在技能竞赛中屡获佳绩，2023年获第二届全国技能大赛"增材制造"赛项金牌，实现安徽省该领域零突破。同时推进创新创业教育，建成省级创新创业学院，获全国职业学校创新创效创业大赛国赛二等奖等55项双创赛事奖项。

The college deepens industry-education integration, establishing cooperative relations with over 300 enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region. It has jointly built 1 national-level productive training base and 3 provincial-level school-enterprise cooperation demonstration bases, forming characteristic talent training models such as "master team leadership" and "real environment & real products". Teachers and students have achieved outstanding results in skill competitions, winning the gold medal in the "Additive Manufacturing" event at the 2nd National Skills Competition in 2023, achieving a zero breakthrough in this field in Anhui Province. Meanwhile, it promotes innovation and entrepreneurship education, establishing a provincial-level innovation and entrepreneurship college, and has won 55 innovation and entrepreneurship awards including the second prize in the national vocational school innovation and entrepreneurship competition.
