黎明职业大学坐落于晋江经验发源地、世界遗产城市泉州，是泉州市人民政府举办的全日制综合性公办高校，前身是创办于1929年的黎明高级中学。作为侨建公办的著名侨校，办学发展得到习近平总书记多次关心、亲自过问。2025年6月，学校正式获批成为福建省第一所公办本科层次职业大学。

Liming Vocational University is located in Quanzhou, the birthplace of the "Jinjiang Experience" and a world heritage city. It is a full-time comprehensive public college run by the Quanzhou Municipal People's Government, with its predecessor being Liming Senior High School founded in 1929. As a famous overseas Chinese-funded public school, its development has received multiple attentions and personal inquiries from General Secretary Xi Jinping. In June 2025, the university was officially approved to become the first public undergraduate-level vocational university in Fujian Province.

学校扎根民营经济特区、万亿GDP城市泉州，以传承弘扬晋江经验作为办学使命，面向石油化工、纺织鞋服等产业打造9个高水平特色专业群，开设49个专业。现有1个国家级双高计划专业群、2个省级双高计划，累计培养近10万名技术技能人才，七成毕业生留在泉州，超九成毕业生留在福建，连续2年获评泉州市留才奖第一名。

Rooted in Quanzhou, a private economy special zone and a city with a trillion GDP, the university takes inheriting and promoting the Jinjiang Experience as its mission. It has built 9 high-level characteristic professional groups and offered 49 majors focusing on industries such as petrochemicals, textiles and footwear. Currently, it has 1 national-level double-high plan professional group and 2 provincial-level double-high plans, having cultivated nearly 100,000 technical and skilled talents. Seventy percent of graduates stay in Quanzhou, over ninety percent stay in Fujian, and it has been awarded the first place in Quanzhou's Talent Retention Award for two consecutive years.

学校是全国职业教育先进单位、国家优质高等职业院校，2019年被列入国家双高计划建设单位，以优秀等级通过国家双高计划五年验收。同时充分发挥侨校优势，与"一带一路"沿线17个国家及台港澳地区的90余所院校开展合作，建设11个黎明海丝学院，招收留学生487人，被《中国教育报》誉为"北有鲁班工坊，南有海丝学院"。

The university is an advanced unit of national vocational education and a national high-quality higher vocational college. In 2019, it was listed as a national double-high plan construction unit and passed the five-year acceptance of the national double-high plan with excellent grades. Giving full play to the advantages of an overseas Chinese school, it has carried out cooperation with more than 90 institutions in 17 countries along the "Belt and Road" and Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao regions, established 11 Liming Maritime Silk Road Institutes, and enrolled 487 international students. It has been praised by "China Education Daily" as "There is Luban Workshop in the north, and Maritime Silk Road Institute in the south".
