南充职业技术学院是经四川省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等学校，坐落在嘉陵江中游的川东北中心城市、千年绸都——南充市。2003年，由原南充教育学院、南充农业学校、四川省水利经济管理学校、南充工业学校合并为南充职业技术学院，后南充市种畜场成建制划归学校。学校以高等职业技术教育为主，开展继续教育、社会培训等社会服务，附设初级中学和幼儿园各1所。

Nanchong Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is located in Nanchong City, a central city in northeastern Sichuan and a millennium-old silk capital, in the middle reaches of the Jialing River. In 2003, it was merged from the former Nanchong College of Education, Nanchong Agricultural School, Sichuan Water Conservancy Economic Management School, and Nanchong Industrial School into Nanchong Vocational and Technical College. Later, the Nanchong Livestock Farm was incorporated into the school as a whole. The school mainly focuses on higher vocational and technical education, and carries out social services such as continuing education and social training. It also has 1 junior high school and 1 kindergarten attached.

办学条件优良，占地1403.4亩，建筑总面积40.09万平方米，固定资产5.78亿元，教学仪器设备总值1.7亿元。学校先后获得教育部高职高专院校人才培养工作水平评估优秀学校、四川省省级示范性高等职业院校、四川省优质高等职业院校、四川省“双高计划”建设单位等荣誉。

The school has excellent running conditions, covering an area of 1403.4 mu, with a total building area of 400,900 square meters, fixed assets of 578 million yuan, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment of 170 million yuan. The school has successively won honors such as Excellent School in the Evaluation of Talent Training in Higher Vocational Colleges by the Ministry of Education, Sichuan Provincial Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, Sichuan Provincial High-Quality Higher Vocational College, and Sichuan Provincial "Double High Plan" Construction Unit.

专业门类齐全，学校现设有财经学院、智能制造学院等11个教学单位49个专业，其中学前教育专业、建筑工程技术专业为教育部和财政部支持的重点专业；会计专业为国家级骨干专业；畜牧兽医、学前教育、汽车检测与维修技术、工程造价4个专业为省级示范专业。师资力量雄厚，学校现有在岗教职员工735人，校内专任教师678人，具有高级专业技术职称教师163人，其中正高39人，二级教授1人，三级教授3人，双师素质教师334人，硕博士399人。

The school has a complete range of majors. It currently has 11 teaching units including the School of Finance and Economics, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, etc., with 49 majors. Among them, the preschool education major and the construction engineering technology major are key majors supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance; the accounting major is a national backbone major; animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, preschool education, automobile inspection and maintenance technology, and engineering cost are 4 provincial demonstration majors. The school has a strong faculty. There are 735 in-service faculty members, 678 full-time teachers, 163 teachers with senior professional and technical titles, including 39 professors, 1 second-level professor, 3 third-level professors, 334 double-qualified teachers, and 399 masters and doctors.
