内蒙古科技职业学院成立于1991年，是经内蒙古自治区人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，纳入国家统一招生计划，具有独立颁发国家承认学历证书资格的全日制普通高校。学院是内蒙古自治区先进办学单位、就业先进单位、学生资助工作先进单位、教育部示范性实训基地，设有国家职业技能鉴定站、普通话水平测试站等多个技能认证机构。

Inner Mongolia Vocational College of Science and Technology was founded in 1991. It is a full-time ordinary college approved by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, registered with the Ministry of Education, included in the national unified enrollment plan, and qualified to independently issue nationally recognized academic certificates. The college is an Advanced School-running Unit, Advanced Employment Unit, Advanced Unit for Student Financial Assistance in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and a Model Training Base of the Ministry of Education, with multiple skill certification institutions such as a National Vocational Skills Appraisal Station and a Putonghua Proficiency Testing Station.

学院现设有医学技术系、教育系、汽车工程系等多个教学机构，配备医学基础实训室、护理实训室、汽车实训车间等先进教学设施。秉持"以服务为宗旨、以就业为导向"的办学理念，形成了高职教育为主，涵盖中职教育、成人教育、职业技能培训的多层次办学格局，现有在校生三千余名，开设24个热门专业。

The college currently has multiple teaching institutions such as the Department of Medical Technology, Department of Education, and Department of Automotive Engineering, equipped with advanced teaching facilities including medical basic training rooms, nursing training rooms, and automotive training workshops. Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "taking service as the purpose and employment as the orientation", it has formed a multi-level school-running pattern dominated by higher vocational education, covering secondary vocational education, adult education, and vocational skills training. There are more than 3,000 students and 24 popular majors.
