宁夏工业职业学院位于美丽的“塞上湖城”银川市，1981年经教育部批准成立，是一所以工科为主、具有全国招生资质的公办普通高等职业院校。学院隶属于国家能源集团宁夏煤业有限责任公司，集高等职业教育、职工培训、安全生产培训于一体，具有国家二级安全生产培训资质，被誉为“宁夏煤炭行业人才培养的摇篮”。

Ningxia Vocational College of Industry is located in the beautiful "Saishang Lake City" Yinchuan. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 1981, it is a public higher vocational college focusing on engineering with national enrollment qualifications. Affiliated to National Energy Group Ningxia Coal Industry Co., Ltd., the college integrates higher vocational education, employee training, and safety production training, holding national second-level safety production training qualification, and is known as "the cradle of talent cultivation in Ningxia's coal industry".

学院现设有采矿工程系、机电工程系、化学工程系等教学系部，开设煤矿智能开采技术、机电一体化技术、应用化工技术等19个专业，其中矿山机电技术专业为自治区高水平建设专业，煤矿开采技术等专业通过教育部创新发展行动计划认定。校园占地面积11.69万平方米，拥有2个综采综掘实训车间、21个专业实验实训室，依托宁夏煤业集团下属厂矿构建了完善的校外实训基地，形成“工学结合、顶岗实习”的特色育人模式。

The college currently has teaching departments including Mining Engineering Department, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department, and Chemical Engineering Department, offering 19 majors such as Intelligent Coal Mining Technology, Mechatronics Technology, and Applied Chemical Technology. Among them, Mining Electromechanical Technology is a high-level construction major in the autonomous region, and Coal Mining Technology has been recognized through the Ministry of Education's Innovation and Development Action Plan. Covering an area of 116,900 square meters, the campus has 2 comprehensive mining and excavation training workshops, 21 professional laboratories, and a complete off-campus training base relying on the factories and mines under Ningxia Coal Industry Group, forming a characteristic education model of "work-integrated learning and on-the-job internship".

建校40余年来，学院秉承“明德、弘毅、进学、敦行”校训，累计培养技能型人才3万余人，毕业生就业率始终位居宁夏高职院校前列。学院先后荣获“全国煤矿安全培训示范基地”“自治区文明校园”等称号，为宁夏能源化工产业发展和地方经济建设提供了坚实的人才支撑。

Over more than 40 years of establishment, adhering to the school motto of "Virtue, Perseverance, Learning, and Practice", the college has cultivated over 30,000 skilled talents, with graduate employment rate consistently ranking among the top in Ningxia's vocational colleges. It has successively won titles such as "National Coal Mine Safety Training Demonstration Base" and "Autonomous Region Civilized Campus", providing solid talent support for the development of Ningxia's energy and chemical industry and local economic construction.
