平凉职业技术学院是经甘肃省人民政府批准设置、教育部备案的公办高等职业学校，于2016年整合平凉师范、平凉农校、平凉工业中等专业学校和平凉体校四所普通中专教育资源组建而成，其文脉缘起于柳湖书院，距今已有百余年办学历史。学院位于甘肃省平凉市崆峒区，校园占地441亩，总建筑面积23.6万平方米，建有各类实验实训室220个，固定资产总值10.56亿元，教学仪器设备总值1.58亿元，各类图书86.645万册。现有在编教职工492人，专任教师452人，其中正高级职称13人、副高级职称137人，硕士以上学位126人，“双师型”教师274人，占比60.61%，并拥有甘肃省第一梯队领军人才、陇原人才服务卡C类/D类人才、陇原青年英才等高层次人才。学院以全日制普通高等教育为主，兼顾继续教育和短期培训，开设学前教育、护理、机械制造、电气自动化等36个高职专业，形成了多学科、综合型的办学格局，2021年被确定为甘肃省“双高计划”立项建设学校，学前教育专业群入选甘肃省高水平专业群序列，致力于为区域经济社会发展培养高素质技术技能人才。

Pingliang Vocational and Technical College is a public higher vocational school approved by the People's Government of Gansu Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Established in 2016, it was formed by integrating educational resources from four ordinary technical secondary schools: Pingliang Normal School, Pingliang Agricultural School, Pingliang Industrial Secondary Professional School, and Pingliang Sports School. Its cultural context originated from Liuhu Academy, with a history of over a hundred years of running schools. Located in Kongtong District, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, the college covers an area of 441 mu, with a total construction area of 236,000 square meters. It has 220 various experimental training rooms, with a total fixed asset value of 1.056 billion yuan, teaching equipment value of 158 million yuan, and 866,450 books of various types. There are 492 in-service faculty members, including 452 full-time teachers, among whom 13 have senior professional titles, 137 have associate senior professional titles, 126 have master's degrees or above, and 274 are "double-qualified" teachers, accounting for 60.61%. It also has high-level talents such as leading talents in the first echelon of Gansu Province, Longyuan Talent Service Card Class C/D talents, and Longyuan Youth Talents. The college focuses on full-time general higher education, while also engaging in continuing education and short-term training. It offers 36 higher vocational majors including preschool education, nursing, mechanical manufacturing, and electrical automation, forming a multidisciplinary and comprehensive school-running pattern. In 2021, it was identified as a project construction school of Gansu Province's "Double High Plan", and the preschool education professional group was selected into the sequence of Gansu Province's high-level professional groups, dedicated to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
