青海警官职业学院是青海省唯一一所公安政法类普通高等专科院校，2000年由原青海省人民警察学校（1953年）和原青海省司法警官学校（1982年）合并组建成立，隶属省公安厅领导。主要承担全省公安政法类专门人才学历教育和在职民警培训双重任务。学院占地104亩，建筑面积4.6万平方米，设有治安系、侦查系、法律系等8个教学单位，开设治安管理、刑事执行、法律事务等12个专业，其中包含汉藏双语特色专业方向。

Qinghai Police Vocational College is the only public security and political science higher vocational college in Qinghai Province. Established in 2000 through the merger of the former Qinghai Provincial People's Police School (founded in 1953) and the former Qinghai Provincial Judicial Police School (founded in 1982), it is affiliated to the Qinghai Provincial Public Security Department. The college undertakes dual tasks of academic education for public security and political science professionals and in-service police training. Covering an area of 104 mu with a building area of 46,000 square meters, it has 8 teaching units including the Department of Public Security, Department of Investigation, and Department of Law, offering 12 majors such as Security Management, Criminal Execution, and Legal Affairs, including Tibetan-Chinese bilingual specialty directions.

学院现有教职工217人，专兼职教师139人，其中硕士学位教师73人、博士学位教师1人，教授7人、副教授39人。拥有警体训练馆、模拟派出所、模拟法庭、司法鉴定事务所等教学实训设施，实行警务化管理模式，注重学生实践能力培养，为青海公安政法系统输送了大量合格人才。

The college has 217 faculty members and 139 full-time and part-time teachers, including 73 with master's degrees, 1 with a doctoral degree, 7 professors, and 39 associate professors. It boasts teaching and training facilities such as a police physical training hall, simulated police station, moot court, and judicial authentication office. Implementing a police-style management model, the college emphasizes practical ability cultivation and has trained numerous qualified professionals for Qinghai's public security and political legal system.
