青海农牧科技职业学院是青海省唯一一所农牧类高职院校，始建于1940年9月，原名为国立青海初级实用职业学校，历经多次更名，2021年2月正式更名为青海农牧科技职业学院。学院2002年升格为高等职业院校，2007年成为国家100所示范性高等职业院校建设单位，2021年5月入选全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校。

Qinghai Vocational College of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Science and Technology is the only agricultural and animal husbandry vocational college in Qinghai Province. Founded in September 1940, it was originally named National Qinghai Primary Practical Vocational School. After several name changes, it was officially renamed Qinghai Vocational College of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Science and Technology in February 2021. The college was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2002, became one of the 100 national demonstration higher vocational college construction units in 2007, and was selected as a national high-quality school for rural revitalization talent training in May 2021.

学院现有教职工262人，其中校内专兼职教师211人，双师型教师153人，教授16人，副高职称59人，博士3人，硕士学位以上教师69人。学院坚持“立足青海，服务三农”的发展定位，形成了高职教育、中职教育、短期培训、职业技能鉴定为一体的多层次办学格局，建校85年来为青海农牧区培养了3万多名高素质技术技能型人才，被誉为“鹰之摇篮”。

The college has 262 faculty members, including 211 full-time and part-time teachers, 153 double-qualified teachers, 16 professors, 59 associate senior titles, 3 doctors, and 69 teachers with master's degrees or above. Adhering to the development orientation of "based in Qinghai and serving agriculture, rural areas and farmers", the college has formed a multi-level school-running pattern integrating higher vocational education, secondary vocational education, short-term training and vocational skill appraisal. Over the past 85 years since its establishment, it has trained more than 30,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents for agricultural and pastoral areas in Qinghai, known as the "Cradle of Eagles".
