清远职业技术学院成立于2002年，是经广东省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案、清远市人民政府举办的综合性公办高等学校。学院坐落在有“珠江三角洲后花园”之称的中国优秀旅游城市、中国宜居城市——清远市，距广州市中心仅60公里，毗邻白云国际机场，广清高速、广乐高速、京广铁路纵贯南北，京广高铁在市区设清远站，广清城轨已开通运营，交通便捷。

Qingyuan Polytechnic was founded in 2002. It is a comprehensive public higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province, registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and sponsored by the People's Government of Qingyuan City. The college is located in Qingyuan City, known as the "back garden of the Pearl River Delta" and recognized as an Excellent Tourist City and Livable City in China. It is only 60 kilometers away from the center of Guangzhou, adjacent to the Baiyun International Airport. Guangqing Expressway, Guangle Expressway, and Beijing-Guangzhou Railway run through the north and south, with a Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway station in the urban area. The Guangqing Intercity Railway has been put into operation, providing convenient transportation.

学院设有护理学院、外语与经贸学院、机电与汽车工程学院、旅游家政与艺术学院、信息技术与创意设计学院、食品药品学院、继续教育学院等7个二级学院，现有全日制高职学生1.16万余人（不含面向社会扩招部分），教职工630余人。学院坚持“人本、创新、协同、优质”的办学理念，是广东省示范性高等职业院校，先后被授予“广东省文明单位”“广东省文明校园”“全国节约型公共机构示范单位”等荣誉称号。

The college has 7 secondary colleges, including the School of Nursing, School of Foreign Languages and Economics, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, School of Tourism, Housekeeping and Arts, School of Information Technology and Creative Design, School of Food and Drug, and School of Continuing Education. It currently has over 11,600 full-time vocational students (excluding social enrollment expansion) and more than 630 faculty members. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "People-Oriented, Innovative, Collaborative, and High-Quality", the college is a model higher vocational college in Guangdong Province. It has been awarded honors such as "Civilized Unit of Guangdong Province", "Civilized Campus of Guangdong Province", and "National Model Unit of Economical Public Institutions".

学院拥有完善的教学设施设备，实验（训）场所总建设面积达11.45万余平方米，建有26个实训基地、260个实验实训室，其中6个国家级实训基地和8个省级实训基地。学院与610多家企业（行业）单位建立校企合作关系，注重实践教学和产教融合，培养高素质技术技能人才，办学综合实力稳居粤东西北高职院校前列。

The college has well-equipped teaching facilities, with a total construction area of over 114,500 square meters for experimental and training venues. It has 26 training bases and 260 laboratories, including 6 national-level and 8 provincial-level training bases. The college has established school-enterprise cooperation relationships with more than 610 enterprises and institutions, focusing on practical teaching and industry-education integration to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents. Its comprehensive办学 strength ranks among the top vocational colleges in eastern, western, and northern Guangdong.
