庆阳职业技术学院是2014年10月经甘肃省人民政府批准成立、2015年4月教育部备案的全日制普通高等职业院校，隶属于庆阳市人民政府，由省教育厅负责业务指导。学院前身为庆阳财校、庆阳工校、庆阳商校、庆阳体校和中华会计函授学校庆阳分校五校合并组建的庆阳理工中专，2020年被授予“省级文明校园”称号，并被确定为“全省语言文字工作达标校”。学院坐落于陇东国家级能源化工基地核心区——甘肃省庆阳市，秉承“明理求真、精工致用”校训，以培养高素质技能型人才为目标，重点服务地方经济社会发展需求。

Qingyang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Gansu Provincial People's Government in October 2014 and filed by the Ministry of Education in April 2015. Affiliated to the Qingyang Municipal People's Government and under the professional guidance of the Provincial Department of Education, the college evolved from the merger of five local schools: Qingyang Finance School, Qingyang Industrial School, Qingyang Commercial School, Qingyang Sports School, and the Qingyang Branch of China Accounting Correspondence School. In 2020, it was awarded the title of "Provincial Civilized Campus" and recognized as a "Provincial Language Work Standardized School". Located in Qingyang City, Gansu Province—the core area of the Longdong National Energy and Chemical Industry Base—the college adheres to the motto "Seek Truth with Reason, Apply Skills with Excellence" and focuses on cultivating high-quality technical talents to serve local economic and social development.

学院以“创办适应经济社会发展的教育”为办学理念，构建了能源化工与机械制造、数字信息与智能建造、教育与现代服务三大专业集群，开设石油工程技术、机电一体化技术、学前教育、计算机网络技术等31个高职专业，其中石油工程、机电一体化等专业紧密对接陇东能源产业需求，形成鲜明办学特色。教学体系注重“岗课赛证”融合，建有实验实训基地、千兆校园网和藏书16万余册的图书馆，学生宿舍配备空调与网络设施，为实践教学与生活提供保障。近年来，学院通过校企合作订单培养、红色文化研学等模式，推动“德技兼修、知行合一”的人才培养，毕业生就业率稳居全省同类院校前列。

With the educational philosophy of "Creating Education Adapted to Economic and Social Development", the college has established three major professional clusters: Energy Chemical Engineering & Machinery Manufacturing, Digital Information & Intelligent Construction, and Education & Modern Services. It offers 31 higher vocational programs including Petroleum Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Technology, Preschool Education, and Computer Network Technology. Programs such as Petroleum Engineering and Mechatronics closely align with the energy industry needs of Longdong, forming distinct educational characteristics. The teaching system emphasizes the integration of "posts, courses, competitions, and certificates", supported by experimental training bases, a gigabit campus network, and a library with over 160,000 books. Student dormitories are equipped with air conditioning and network facilities to ensure quality living and learning environments. In recent years, through school-enterprise cooperation, order-based training, and red culture research programs, the college promotes the cultivation of talents with "both moral integrity and technical proficiency, integrating knowledge and practice", with graduate employment rates consistently ranking among the top of similar institutions in Gansu Province.
