萨卡里亚大学（Sakarya University）是土耳其的一所综合性公立研究型大学，位于萨卡里亚省省会阿达帕扎勒市，距离伊斯坦布尔约100英里，地理位置优越且交通便利。学校前身为1970年成立的工程与建筑学院，后逐步发展为拥有13个学院和6个研究机构的综合性大学，目前在校生规模近5.3万人，是土耳其规模较大的高等学府之一。

Sakarya University is a comprehensive public research university in Turkey, located in Adapazarı, the capital of Sakarya Province, approximately 100 miles from Istanbul, boasting a superior geographical location and convenient transportation. Formerly established as the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture in 1970, it has gradually developed into a comprehensive university with 13 faculties and 6 research institutions, currently hosting nearly 53,000 students, making it one of the larger higher education institutions in Turkey.

The university offers a rich range of disciplines, covering engineering and technology, natural sciences, medicine, management, education, humanities and social sciences, etc. Among them, the Faculty of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.), Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences (Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering), and Faculty of Medicine (Dentistry, etc.) are its优势学科 (strong disciplines), enjoying high reputation in Turkey. The university emphasizes the integration of academic research and practice, with 23 research centers, 24 libraries, and advanced laboratory facilities. It also actively promotes internationalization by establishing an International Relations Coordination Office and offering some English-taught graduate programs.

作为20世纪90年代快速发展的高校代表，萨卡里亚大学在技术基础设施、互联网建设和信息学领域表现突出，学费及生活成本相对合理，适合预算有限的国际学生。近年来，学校在QS、USNews等世界大学排名中稳步提升，2025年USNews世界大学排名位列第1396位，QS世界大学排名处于1401+区间，未来有望通过持续的学科建设和国际合作进一步提升全球影响力。

As a representative of universities that developed rapidly in the 1990s, Sakarya University has shown outstanding performance in technical infrastructure, internet construction, and informatics. With relatively reasonable tuition fees and living costs, it is suitable for international students with limited budgets. In recent years, the university has steadily risen in world university rankings such as QS and USNews. In 2025, it ranked 1396th in the USNews World University Rankings and was in the 1401+ range in the QS World University Rankings. It is expected to further enhance its global influence through continuous discipline development and international cooperation in the future.
