四川电力职业技术学院始建于1917年，是一所国家公办的全日制专科层次高等职业学校，具有百年办学历史，隶属于国家电网有限公司，是全国电力行业唯一一所国家示范性高等职业院校。2006年起，学院与国网四川省电力公司技能培训中心合并，集高职教育、技能培训、人才评价、竞赛考试、科研咨询等功能于一体。现有在校生3000人，设置7个职能部门和14个业务机构，其中教学系部9个。

Sichuan Electric Power Vocational and Technical College, founded in 1917, is a public full-time higher vocational school at the junior college level with a century-long history of running schools. Affiliated to State Grid Corporation of China, it is the only national demonstration higher vocational college in the national electric power industry. Since 2006, the college has been merged with the Skills Training Center of State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company, integrating higher vocational education, skills training, talent evaluation, competition examinations, scientific research consulting and other functions. There are currently 3,000 students, with 7 functional departments and 14 business institutions, including 9 teaching departments.

学院建有成都、温江、青峰岭三个校区，总占地面积822.72亩，固定资产约2.1亿元。建成电力行业水平领先的综合性实训基地，有校内实训（实验）室108个，包括特高压输电线路、风光储智能微电网、电力无人机等一流实训场地，配备与生产同步的先进实训设施设备，有实训工位5000余个。学院秉承“产教融合、教培一体，植根电力、与光明同行”的办学理念，充分发挥企业办学优势，与企业人才共有、资源共用、过程共管、责任共担、成果共享，走出一条学历教育与职业培训双向反哺、职前教育与职后培训一体贯通的特色办学之路。

The college has three campuses in Chengdu, Wenjiang and Qingfengling, covering a total area of 822.72 mu with fixed assets of about 210 million yuan. It has built a comprehensive training base leading in the electric power industry, with 108 on-campus training (experimental) rooms, including first-class training sites such as UHV transmission lines, wind-solar-storage smart microgrids, and electric power drones. It is equipped with advanced training facilities and equipment synchronized with production, with more than 5,000 training workstations. Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "integration of industry and education, integration of teaching and training, rooted in electric power, and walking with light", the college gives full play to the advantages of enterprise-run schools, sharing talents, resources, process management, responsibilities and achievements with enterprises, and has developed a characteristic school-running path of two-way feedback between academic education and vocational training, and integration of pre-service education and post-service training.
